The Little Mermaid

I'm buying every single one of these MinaLima illustrated editions because they are BEAUTIFUL. I've seen their art for the things they do with Harry Potter and their Instagram, so when they posted that the latest in this series was Alice in Wonderland, I sought out what else was available. I didn't imagine they'd be on Amazon and didn't imagine they'd be cheap, but I got this for a little over $16. This is SO inexpensive and I would've paid more for it (but since I didn't, I bought two - also got Beauty and the Beast around $12). The whole book is filled with such magically amazing art to go along with the stories and it's entirely throughout. You hardly ever see two pages in a row without something. The interactive elements are fun...I'm not giving this to a child, but they're still whimsical, cute and appreciated. It's stuff like fold out maps, "doors" that you open with mirrors or other images inside. This also has other stories including the Princess and the Pea, the Snow Queen, The Nightingale and a couple of others. The pages themselves it's printed on are nice, smooth and thick. I just can't say enough good things about this book (or the series of them) and would recommend to anyone. They also have The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book and...I think that's it. I'm not sure if they are doing more or if Alice completes them...but I hope there are many more still to come. Alice just came out so it's higher, I think about $30, but ANY of these would be worth every penny.

This book is awesome! Sturdy nice hardcover, very nice illustrations. Really cool interactive pop ups in the stories. I love that it's the original story of the little Mermaid and not the disney tale everyone knows. And all the other fairy tales in it are amazing as well. Definitely worth the money and my youngest daughter is totally ecstatic to read all the original tales and everything. Definitely happy to add it to our book collection, and can't wait to get a few more of these style books with the other stories out of the this collection.

The little mermaid is one of my favorite Disney stories. Ariel and Belle, have always flip flopped for the number one spot as my favorite Princess. But Ariel was the first for me. I always wanted to read the original story and now have. I like it a lot, but I probably will gravitate to the Disney version. Probably because it is not so sad. Love this edition of the book and the other stories.

İçeriği çizimler vs çok güzel gerçekten. Fakat bu kadar uzak yola sadece yırtık bir koli olması çok üzücü. Kutu şeklinde bile değil fazladan kalan kartonları bantla çevrelemişler. Haliyle kitabın arka alt kısmında kocaman bir yırtık var. Dış koruma jelatini de yarıya kadar yırtıktı. Birisinin iade ettiği ürünü bile göndermiş olabilirler.

Absolutely beautiful book. Hard cover is made from solid and quality material. Very thick book. Pictures are beautiful, many of them have interactive or moveable bits and pieces (which come with paper to protect them during the journey). The kind of book you keep forever, I can’t wait to read it with my daughter.

Bought this for my niece for Christmas she always says how pretty the cover is and loves the illustration! Can’t really go wrong with a good book for a gift
