Great improvement
The upholstery clips that the manufacturer (Simmons) were very cheap and the springs kept bending the clips and then coming off so the couch had no support and you sank way down whenever anyone sat on it. These new clips hold the spring securely and when combined with some other reinforcements now provided a firm and comfortable seating experience.

Good Replacement item
The product/Upholstery clips are better than I replaced. The chair had the same looking clips but softer metal. The upholstery clips are steel and I don't thinks I'll be replacing them in the future. I purchased extra for the 7 other chairs that have the softer thin metal like thin foil still on the remaining chairs.

That they fit the diameter spring wire you are using.
No issues, I have used half the bag already, fit perfect, held my seat springs in place and kept them straight under tension. Perfect!!

They do the job.
They're not exactly the same as the clips that were originally installed in the sofa but they do the job and the sofa has a few more years of useful life.

Lightweight
They were smaller and thinner than expected. Won't work for anything that gets a lot of use.
