A good earthy smell that is not too overpowering. It is kind to the skin.

A decent, not excessively priced set of three soaps. Supplied in the pictured cardboard box, the pale turquoise-green shade is inoffensive, and it lathers and cleans well, without drying the hands out as so many products nowadays are prone to do -even those touted as 'moisturising'. Though not the cheapest, it's worth the money.The downside is that the scent is nothing like Morny French Fern -not, at least, as it used to be. The freshness is gone; it's a touch musky if anything, not unpleasent by any means (perfectly acceptable in fact) but sadly not what it was. Why, how -no idea. Quality soap still worth the money though? Yes. I just mourn the loss of an increasing number of classic scents and their associated products. French Fern was one of the first to go (years ago), holding on in soap form, and now even that seems to be a thing of the past. Oh well, all things pass, and since this is ultimately a bar of soap, it's best judged on that, and it's as good as it's always been on that front.

Great smell

The perfume is the same although the colour is now pale blue whereas when my wife worked for Mr Silgo at morny in perivale it was green
