Billy Jealousy Beard Control Leave In Beard Conditioner for Men with Aloe Leaf Juice and Jojoba Seed Oil, Softens Hair and Skin, Light Hold with Matte Finish

I’ve been a fan of Billy Jealousy products for a long time, and this beard control conditioner didn’t disappoint. It softens my beard without making it feel greasy or weighed down, and it gives just the right amount of light hold with a nice, natural finish. It also lasts a LONG time. The scent is great, clean and masculine without being overpowering, and it really helps with itch and irritation. It’s easy to apply and spreads evenly with a comb or brush. If you’re looking for a beard product that keeps things soft, controlled, and smelling good, this is a solid go-to.

I’ve been sporting a full beard for about 3 years now. During this time the idea of trying a product has entered my mind. However, I never pursued it. Recently I purchased some Billy Jealousy Forming Cream for my hair. I liked the product. This beard conditioner happened to come up while in my Amazon App. I read the reviews and thought what do I have to lose. I’ve been using it after I shower 🚿. First I use a boar bristle brush to style the beard and then I use this conditioner. It has a nice scent. The texture is perfect; not too thick or too thin. Instead of “brushing” it through my beard after applying I use it to smooth my beard and add some definition. It actually makes my beard appear thicker which I like along with helping to tame fly aways. I plan on continuing to use this product as long as I have a beard which is until I die. If you’re on the fence give it a shot.

This stuff is great. I was a little turned off by all the "make your beard grow faster and stronger b.s." but bought it anyway because the product had great reviews. This stuff really does add volume. It won't give you new hair follicles or make your beard grow faster, but it does make it appear fuller, which is nice. It also holds well, and does a good job of controlling stray hairs. It does leave your beard pretty stiff though. I'm not sure how anyone can say this stuff makes your beard "softer", because it definitely doesn't. The product is pretty liquidy, which is nice. It spreads on easy and distributes well, unlike balms. I haven't had any beard flakes since I started using this product, which has always been a problem in the past. However, it doesn't do much to alleviate beard itch. Overall, this is the best beard product I've tried so far (and I've tried a lot). A lot of reviews complain about the price, but the bottle is really big, and you don't need much. One bottle will easily last months unless you have a HUGE beard.

It shore does help tame my beard and keeps most hairs in place. I've noticed that it does it's job best if you apply it on a completely dry beard. So not after a shower. I noticed some complaining about the beard feeling a bit stiff... I don't know what they would expect if they want some control. The feeling isn't bad and I deal with it as long as the beard maintains its hold. During mid day, if I've been running around a lot and the beard looses its shape, all I do is run the comb and the shape it again without any additional application. It's a bit flaky, but not noticeable (only when I run the comb through it hours later). I don't know how I feel about the smell. It's a nice hair conditioner type smell that you'd find at a hair saloon. I don't hate it but can do without it. I'm happy to buy a product that is not tested on animals, so that's a great plus. Reason for 4 stars: Looking at the ingredients, I'm not too happy with some of them. It uses fragrance, which is no bueno for the hair if used regularly. Overall, their ingredient list is safe (although not natural) and some are even beneficial. I use this product once a week when I go out and have a long night ahead of me and want the confidence that my beard is looking good. Otherwise, I stick to natural stuff for the majority of the week.

I don't buy anything else for my beard. Im not sure why they call this conditioner though.. it has a slight hold in it.. so it is perfect for keeping stray beard hairs tucked away. Basically a taming cream. Humidity gets to mine and this holds it very well.

Great control, softness, and not-greasy feel. Nice, subtle fragrance. Washes out well, no build up.

Every hair or beard product in existence probably has a niche consumer, where that product is deemed perfect. For me, this product is a no-go. The pros: it's a great quantity for the price, the scent is fine, and, finally; the product absolutely delivers on its "control" promise. Unfortunately, the "control" comes at the cost of a beard left feeling as if it was blasted with a high quantity of hair spray. Mine fielt brittle to the touch. I keep a relatively short beard, about 1" or a little less. This stuff is too much of a "control" product for my taste. Will not buy again. That said, this might be the perfect product for someone else.

I Was losing beard like crazy and after working with ChatGpt it was determined grey beards do not hold moisture so I was very dry and brittle and shedding like crazy, I Use this stuff after shower and just a tiny bit of lanolin to seal my beard and it has been beautiful. Customer for life here!

I’ve tried several beard conditioners, balms and oils. This is the best. Not greasy. Good hold for grooming and pleasant/faint scent.

I've given this four stars because, in my opinion, it's not a strictly necessary product to have. I personally don't need it in my day-to-day. However, I've discovered that during wash day, it really does put back the moisture in you're beard. My previous routine consisted of showering to add water to my beard, adding oil, then finishing off with some beard balm for final styling. This method's worked quite well for me. my beard generally stays quite moisturized for a couple of hours after application. For me, this is enough. Where this product makes a difference is that it further moisturizes my beard helping its softness to last longer. I apply it first after my shower before the oil and then continue with the aforementioned routine. For afro hair, I've noticed my beard is 'bouncy' and there's less shrinkage my beard holds the pre-styled shape a lot easier and for longer and finally looks more like it's the true length. The icing on the cake, however, is that I've discovered that after washing your beard it seems to do a REALLY good job of holding in the moisture and keeping my beard soft, which is something I struggle to get with my hair type. Overall I'm very satisfied. If you're looking to buy it, I'd say it's more of a luxury item. Most won't need it. Beard oil, shampoo and balm are basically what you need because the oil is supposed to act as a conditioner. This just adds that little extra. I've gotten by with less.

Great control and texture. Smell’s amazing!!

Disappointing product. Wanted an alternative to wax for styling my beard but the hold in this product is too light. It also made my beard feel stiff and a bit itchy rather than soft or conditioned, so not a good alternative to oil either. Plus it smells chemically, like hair spray. Bad all round.
