We are trying our best to teach our kids the basics of life.... cooking, dishes, laundry etc. Our kids just have not picked up on how to fold laundry and when they fold stuff it takes up too much room in their drawers and closet as they tend to leave them wadded up. I thought this would be most helpful and easy for them to use to neatly fold their shirts and maybe they also would not look like they found their clothing at the bottom of a hamper all wrinkled. For the price, this was worth a try and it worked! My youngest (12 yo) says they dislike it and it takes too long, but they use it without issue and are only complaining to complain, and, low and behold, their shirts are no longer wrinkled balled up masses coming out of every drawer. Our oldest (15 yo) thinks this is great how neatly things gets folded and is happy to use it on their ever expanding wardrobe of t shirts and hoodies. I used this on the wardrobe of both the preteen and teenager in addition to us adults and found that this folds short sleeved, long sleeved, hoodies, etc. Some items you need to fold up the bottom edge and pull the whole garment down before doing the last flip and can make a nice package that is neat and holds together nicely. This also allows you to fold so you can see the majortiy of the design on the t shirt which also helps to know if it is the shirt you are looking for to wear that day. Overall, I am impressed that it has helped get the kids to fold laundry much better than before and it takes up less space when put away!
