Almost perfect except for lack of intermediate temperature presets
UPDATE! I have been traveling with this kettle for almost 2 months now. I am more pleased with it than ever. It is an awesome kettle to travel with to make coffee or tea. This is a great kettle for making hot water. It is durable, easy to use, and highly effective. I looked at other kettles and the others all had drawbacks. Either they were too big because I use this to carry with me when I am traveling or they did not have a temperature readout which made it difficult to get the water the precise temperature desired. This unit only has one flaw. Which is the inability to set temperatures between 50C and 70 C.THE TEMPERATURE READOUT IS ONLY IN CENTIGRADE AND YOU CANNOT SWITCH TO FAHRENHEIT. But that's not a big issue because once you know the temperature that you want your coffee or tea or any other hot water it's easy to remember that temperature in Centigrade. The presets are:40C 104F,45C 113F,50C 122F,70C 158F,85C 185F,90C 194F100C 212F boiling70 is too hot. I have to wait for it to cool down to drink my instant coffee. 50 is too cold. The ideal temperature for ME is 56C = 133F. Thus, if the unit had presets of 55 60 and 65, I believe that it would cover everyone's desired ideal temperature. As of now I have to set it to 50 and once it reaches 50 set it to 70 but stop it when it gets to 56, which usually takes about 40 seconds to go from 50 to 56.At least it is doable but it would be perfect if it had 5° incremental presets between 50 and 70 or even better if it had an exact preset ability. It is a great kettle, I purchased another one after getting the first one so I am super pleased with it.

Little travel kettle
I opened the package for this small, collapsible kettle with much anticipation. It seems to be well-made with strong plastic base and handle/top, thick silicone body and a short but heavy duty detachable power cord. The display is intuitive and easy to understand. My model came with Fahrenheit as the inicial unit of measurement. It heats water fairly quickly although once it reaches about 185-190F, the heating element turns off and on again repeatedly. This makes the last little bit of heating a little slower but not by much. Its almost as if the kettle pauses every once in a while once it starts to get very hot. The second time I used it, it powered on but then shortly after it displayed the code E3- it looked like the power cord wasnt plugged into the kettle all the way. I unplugged it, plugged it in firmly and no problems. It took about 4-5 minutes (no stopwatch) to boil the full .7 liters and was very quiet.Unplugging the kettle, I took it to the sink to see how it poured. Very important to not pick it up by the soft silicone body. The instructions and warning label on the kettle both stipulate this and .. common sense. Picking it up by the handle is comfortable and both the base and handle were cool to touch while there was boiling hot water in the kettle. Easy to transport and pour. There isnt a lock on the top so I dont recommend heating water or leaving hot water in the kettle while in a moving vehicle for example. I dumped the whole kettle of boiling water down the sink and the steam hit me and was uncomfortably hot on my hand and arm. The second time I poured it more slowly and it wasnt as bad but still present. I may use a towel over my hand while pouring just to be even more careful. When popping open the kettle, the silicone body was surprisingly stiff. Needed a fair amount of force to pull it open. Closing it was difficult the first time, it has a trick to it- it needs a little patience and persuading. The second time I opened it and closed it was much easier. I like the sturdyness of the silicone- the corresponding resistance when opening and closing is reassuring that it wont just collapse. All in all, pretty stoked on this new travel companion.

Good For Travel
We got this little kettle to take with us when we travel for hot chocolate, tea or even instant coffee. In collapses down so it does not take up too much space. At times you have to work with it a little to collapse or pull it up. The electrical cord is about 24 inches long. It is only for heating water. Heats up quick and has an automatic cut off. It defaults to 100 celsius on initial heating, which is 212F. Then you can set the holding temperature you want between 40 and 90 celsius. The temperatures are shown only in Celsius so if you aren't familiar with them you will have to Google like I did. And I find the buttons a bit hard to make work. They are flat touch buttons and I have to put my finger in just the right place, and when I want to set the hold temperature I have to really work with it because it seems sensitive to the touch. But we are going to keep it because it does do what it is supposed to.

Very impressive
I got this kettle because i travel a lot for work, love having coffee in the morning and tea at night but am not especially fond of trusting the cleanliness of all coffee makers. The collapsible design makes it very travelable but it is so easy to use that I have started using it as my main teapot when i am home now too! I’ve used it twice a day for nearly 2 weeks now and i have found it to be high quality and durable. Some people asked about smell and taste, personally I only put water in it so I havent experienced any smells or Taste related to the material it is made of.I like that you can see the temperature from the time you turn the kettle up to when it reaches a full boil. This whole process only takes a few minutes - faster than a coffee maker! And I love the auto shut off feature that ensures that it can’t accidentally be left on or boil your water away if you have to leave it for a bit.I would definitely recommend this pot.
