Advanced CHIP QUIK - SMD291 - SMD 291 NO FLUX CLEAN 10CC SYRINGE --

A good flux to use when soldering tarnished or difficult items and the flux core in your solder is itself is not quite enough. It has a tacky gel consistency so holds parts in place while positioning. It wets well and gives a good shiny finish to soldered parts. Unlike some fluxes it has a pleasant smell when heated. Fairly easily removed with IPA, it dries quite gummy so takes a little effort but it does come off.Use sparingly, a little goes a long way. It has two sizes of thin nozzles included so helps you precisely apply to your board.I bough this after trying chipquick low melt to remove SMD parts and was impressed with the little tube of flux which came in the kit. This is the exact same stuff in consistency, performance and smell so I’m guessing it is the same. Big tube and doesn’t need to be refrigerated according to the instructions. I have it standing vertically when not used and it doesn't drip or leak.Recommended.

This flux is very thick, like a tree resin. It's hard to clean off the residue and it gunked up the tiny gaps between components. On the plus side, it doesn't burn like other flux I've used before. It doesn't work well with hot air soldering, but works fine with a soldering iron.

Best flux I have used for a Long time no wastage compared to liquid flux and pleasant smell more expensive than liquid but less wastage being a gel I do a lot of prosition soldering this product is great value for money easy to use

It’s easy to use and makes soldering a breeze.The storage caps could be a lot better though as at this price I don’t want it to dry out.Wouldn’t be an issue for someone that solders daily

I have tried this flux with solder and hot air station. Whilst soldering was ok it was awfulul for the hot air. Not functioning really as it should while also generating really acid like fumes.

It's dear but it's worthed.

Cant believe the difference this flux is to the Chinese product i was using ....definitely worth the extra for better quality finish
