I saw results up to double the legal limit. I appreciated the way it lights up red and beeps over .08. Works great, is a good size, has good picture quality on the screen, and works quickly. I live that it came with a carry case but the mouth pieces sit kind of loose in the hole, you have to push them in really hard when you insert them.

My husband wanted this to breathalyze himself and his friends while we were at an all inclusive resort in Mexico for a wedding. It seemed to work well at first, but with more use and even after changing out the little mouthpieces, it didn't seem to be super accurate. People who had barely had a few sips of alcohol throughout the day were blowing the same numbers as people who were clearly much more intoxicated. Definitely a fun idea, and served it's purpose for the trip, but didn't seem to be the most accurate. Not sure if we just over used it with not enough time between checks, or if it was just the device itself, but it was definitely not giving appropriate readings at least some of the time. Worth the money for the fun, but if you want a more accurate breathalyzer, then I'd probably go with a different one.
