My cat is obsessed with these! He plays with the balls all the time. He hasalways enjoyed fetch but will play with these for hours by himself. The shooter isn’t the best quality, but for this price point and the hours of entertainment it’s been more then worth it!

One of our kittens is one of the 16% of cats who will fetch and he LOVES this toy. When he hears the gun being cocked, he comes running and will cray at you if you take too long to shoot the ball. He immediately launches after it, bats it around for a bit, then carries it back to your proximity. He also enjoys just knocking the balls around. While this isn't a high end construction item, it is holding up well and comes with a ton of the balls, a good thing since balls in our two cat household often disappear for days at a time only to suddenly reappear in the middle of the floor. I must add that our much more picky female kitten does not find the gun at all interesting, though she will at times play with the puff balls for short periods of time. It's worth every penny of the very low cost.

I think your cat has to already like being thrown balls. Our kitty wasn’t interested in this really. He liked watching it pop out but didn’t take to it. We gave it to a friend and they said their cat loves it. Their cat plays fetch though so it makes sense. The mechanism is easy to use and could make for lots of enjoyment for the cat and lazy play for the human.

Leave out the shooter, it never works (would be awesome if it did) but I CANNOT KEEP MY CAT STOCKED IN FUZZY BALLS! This will be my 7TH Order since February, would be more but our kitten, Scout, didn't fully invest herself until April in the FUZZY BALLS!Scout is from a feral colony and since she got addicted to the fuzzy balls, her interaction with us and the other cats has increased positively and dramatically! She comes to me all day and night, looking for another ball. We tried "recycling" them, by putting "old" ones back in the drawer and throwing them again. That doesn't' fly. Scout KNOWS.I am grateful my husband adores her cause he has said buy all the balls she wants lol so springing for 3 packages in one order now. So that's 270 balls. Having the cutest little furry soccer player in the world smiling = priceless. Can't get a photo with her playing with them cause she moves too fast but she knows how to politely wait!!

I would give this five stars for how much my kitten loved this toy. Four stars because it is simple but it took a little figuring out that you have to push in the disc in the barrel with your finger to be able to put the pompom in. Three stars for the quality of the item. It's a very thin lightweight plastic and doesn't feel well made. Not very sturdy at all. I'm sure a drop on tile or uncovered flooring would make it at very least crack.On the plus side, the pompoms are very colorful which my kitten found very entertaining and played with them for a while before I had to make the next shot. I wouldn't shoot at the kitten but she jumped in front of the flying pompom and it didn't seem to have any affect. If you like the game fiftytwo pick up played with cards, you yourself will love wondering around picking up little ball of fluff although for the kitten having fun, it's worth it. This toy is so much fun. Not the sturdiest toy I’ve ever bought for my cats, but works as advertised. I shoot the balls at my cats or across the room and they go pretty far. It’s a great way to play with your cats and not have to exert a lot of energy.

They LOVE it! Great exercise. My only concern would be if your cat likes to eat the balls because they are small. The gun may not last if you pull the tab back to roughly, so be careful. But other than that…..it’s fun for the cats and the humans.

Let me explain something really quick. This could not be a more perfect product for an Army Veteran with two very active and playful cats. Yes the quality of the shooter is a little low, it’s a $9 piece of plastic. It is not a powerful shot, but it absolutely doesn’t need to be nor should it be, especially if one is playing with cats! Yes I have accidentally shot them with it, THEY LOVED IT AND WANTED MORE! It is safe to use anywhere and will not hurt your precious babies! Best part is when they inevitably lose the 30 FLUFFBALLS it comes with, you can go to any craft store and buy another bag of these things for like $2. The value is the value, you get what you pay for in terms of the shooter. In terms of the amount of fun and joy you get from this super simple yet genius toy is priceless. It fits in the plan of your hand, but don’t take my word for that because I wear extra large gloves and my hands are massive. I can only imagine someone with smaller hands would have absolutely no problem handling it. It makes a small pop when fired which can’t be heard if more than ten feet away so go ahead, launch one on your sleeping partner and watch the chaos unfold! The only reason I knocked off one star is because yes, the quality of the shooter is very low but again you get what you pay for, and what you paid for is what I can only describe as the best cat toy I’ve ever come across.
