AmplimNon-Contact Digital Temporal Thermometer for Kids & Adults - No-Touch, Touchless - Premium Storage Case

I haven't had to use this much as we have all been well, thank God. When it was in use it matched my temperature the same as the one in the doctor's office.

The kid won’t let me touch him long enough with a regular temple thermometer. I got his temp while he was trying to swat me away

This is a good thermometer for checking your temperature. This was replacing another older one that's no longer available and that fell into a water dish and wasn't working.

These are one of those items you don't think you need it until you do. And then when you do, you wish you had.Just be prepared!!' This thermometer has been an excellent tool for our little family. We have two little ones and has been excellent in the removal of second guessing of fevers or not.Our first receiving this item. We were curious about its accuracy. We tried against another one we have but were not able to match the results. The existing thermometer ran higher than this one, about 1.4 degrees. But we already knew it ran higher anyway.We have been on the search for a new device. Came across this one. It arrived and immediately tried this one on 5 well individuals and were within in .2 of a degree. Average of about 97.7 degrees. So it ran lower than the existing thermometer.We are quite happy and with this non touch thermometer. Seems to work very well. We do find it trustworthy and are accepting of its reading. Easy to use and easy to read.If using it on yourself. An audible tone isgiven when a reading has been taken.The storage case is quite big and find it cumbersome, but protective. Not a a good fit in the medicine cabinet unless we take out and place it the cabinet by itself. We decided to keep it protected. It will fit in our small sink drawers (small bathroom).Still a very good tool to have and be prepared and ready for. Do not think twice about getting one. Just be ready for when you do need. Running out to buy one at the time of need is just not very convenient at a time of need.

This is by far the most inaccurate thermometer I've ever used. I have tried it on my child and was worried sick because I knew she had a slight fever when it told me she had 106° fever and then 102° fever and then 105° fever and then 97 degrees. Then I tried it on myself and range from 92 to 101. This is not a thermometer that I would recommend to anyone.

We’ve been needing a digital thermometer for quite some time, yet always forget about it when at a store where we could get one. Seeing this on my feed was opportune for the winter season, arriving at the perfect time. After installing the included batteries, you can immediately power it on and begin the first temperature reading. I don’t have any other thermometer to compare accuracy, but based on my husband's usual temp, it seems to be within .1 degrees accurate. And unlike other digital thermometers, this infrared technology receives a result almost instantly. However, and this is where I would exercise an abundance of discretion, after a certain reading of about 100.1 degrees F or so, the light will turn red and not provide a temperature reading. This could either be advantageous or an inconvenience if you were to need to know the actual result to relay information to your physicians.Another selling point would be this one is quite portable and heavy-duty. The hard plastic case would be great to keep it protected if needed for a traveling first aid kit. Speaking as a consumer myself, at the current price point, I would like the ability to know an accurate temperature even if it is on the high side.3 Stars

This is a great thermometer. Easy to use & easy to read. Also comes with batteries which is awesome. Babies will appreciate the new technology and not the old ways of checking their temp!
