The media could not be loaded. If you work with machining or need to measure surface roughness accurately this GOYOJO Surface Roughness Tester is a game changer. I got it to check some metal parts for a project and I was honestly surprised how precise it is. The 0.001μm resolution really makes a difference when dealing with fine tolerances. Feels well built too not some cheap plastic thing. Setting it up was pretty straightforward, though the instructions could be a little clearer. Once I figured it out using it was easy. The readings are consistent, and I compared them to another (way more expensive) Tester, results were nearly identical. Battery life also seems decent, haven’t had to charge it much yet. For the price, this thing is a steal. If you need a solid profilometer without breaking the bank I’d highly recommend this one.

This device does the basic surface roughness measurement alright, but the raw dataset (i.e. the surface profile curve data) could not be exported at all, either by using the micro-SD card or direct USB connection. The SAVE button on the device did not appear to work either. There is no information from the instruction manual to help diagnose the issue, and the customer support email is un-responsive.
