excellent small folding saw
great cutting blade, makes very light work of cutting through branches. not quite as good as silky for build quality or variations in products, but a dam fine saw for the money.

Great saw blade, poor construction!
I have enjoyed using this little saw (Felco 600) but the catch mechanism is feeble!Mine has broken so that there is no lock either closed or open and spares are unavailable (and would probably be expensive if they were!). The pivot rod tends to work its way out quite easily and would be lost all too easily.

Best little saw I’ve ever had
Marvellous little saw. Really sharp and great for getting in awkward places. I have recently renovated a forty year old beech hedge, which was very congested and getting too tall. Most of the work was done with this little saw. I liked it so much that I bought two more as presents. I think you can also get spare blades so it will last you for a long time. I am a a lady gardener in my seventies so really appreciate good tools that I can handle.

Great little prunning saw
As a professional gardener, I have used these saws for years. They have a good strong blade, which keeps it's edge well. I know some people have complained about the blade bending. This is not a fault with the saw, I'm afraid it is down to poor technique. Let me explain; this is a double toothed draw saw, which means it cuts on the "pull" stroke, it will also tend to pull itself into the cut. So you only need a very light downward pressure on the "pull" stroke and none at all on the "push" stroke. (people who have used wood saws a lot tend to have trouble as those work the other way round). I have absolutely no trouble cutting branches up to about 4 inches diameter with this saw, above that I tend to use a chainsaw 'cos I'm lazy.

Not Made in Switzerland
Not used yet. Looks decent enough. Prefer the fixed blade to the retractable saws I have just now. The knob to tighten the retractable saws eventually starts to lose grip. Although the product details do not explicitly state that the product is made in Switzerland, there is a big logo above a picture of the product proclaiming 'Swiss Made'. For the record, its made in South Korea.

Excellent, no torn bark
Very good value.Safe locking so you cannot cut yourself when not in use.Red colour makes it easy to find in the orchard.

Good, if fragile.
I'll never understand why the entire assembly is cheaper than buying a replacement blade.Don't let it overheat from too much work, it'll shatter like a Voldemort horcrux.

Great. Would recommend.
Easy to use, lightweight and perfect for the job we had. (100 year old privet cut back)
