Animal friendly
Works great and best part is the bag is made so it has shaker inside the bag, handle on bottom of bag. You open up shake has a secure closure if not full bag is used so save for next time. Ants were disappearing in seconds. Best part animal friendly!

I like that it's pellets and not a chemical spray, worked on my carpenter ants and sugar ants.
Works. Bag is not resealable so use it up fast or get your own storage container because this is a small sawdust like consistency that spills everywhere. But it got rid of my ants fast.

Does the Job
I live in Florida. Ants are an ongoing challenge and they are aggressive. This particular product is excellent. It was not evident to me at purchase but the bag itself also serves as the spreader. It has a built in handle and once you unzip the bag you can spread it slowly and evenly to ant hills and around the edge of your house or landscaping. Plus most importantly: it destroys the colony.

Seems to have worked at first, but fizzled out
I thought it was working this past spring but that didn't last long. The ants were having a party in my kitchen after a few weeks.

Great solution for exterior treatment for carpenter ants.
When I see big ugly carpenter ants, I reach for Ant Shield.. A good dose around the permitter of my house keeps them at bay. On the deck, sprinkle the granules on the board closest to the house and wisk them in with a broom. Unfortunately this is a maintenance item thar will need to be repeated.

These pellets are cost effective and work great
Needed some during the winter and none of the big box stores carried it. These pellets work great and they are very cost effective compared to the new stuff they are selling.
