I’ve run 5 marathons and been an avid runner for 15 years. These are hands down the best for taste, texture, and performance aspects!

I had been using gu energy gels which are fine, but they are high in sugar and calories and required you to use them every 30 minutes. As someone with diabetes and watching my calorie intake while marathon training I thought I would try these and they were great. One before and one an hour is perfect for long runs. Lower calories and easy on the tummy.

I use to use the GU gels & honey stingers, but I was researching these, tried them out and they’re fantastic! I only have to take 1 pouch every 75 mins compared to 3 GU gels. The GU ones started to make me sick after downing like 5 of them, but these ones don’t make my tummy hurt at all. I also noticed a “sugar high” and “crash” with the others, but just solid steady energy with these. I took one pouch before my 5 mile run yesterday and I didn’t have to bring any extras with me- I felt great during my whole run. The only negative comment I have is the taste of the “original” flavor. I had to chase it with something else because the taste was gross in my opinion. But still giving these 5 stars because everything else is so much more important!

As a type 1 diabetic and distance runner I need something that can provide me with sustainable energy. I love Ucan products for this. They use good ingredients. The taste is pretty good. It’s easy to carry with me on long run. I feel better and have more energy when I use the gel.

I love Ucan, I’ve used the protein powder for years, the energy gels are just as good and the flavor is pretty good in my opinion.

Delicious and not chalky

I ordered these when Cliff stopped making their mocha shots. Same basic formula but the package is about twice the size and the gel is much less vicious than Cliff. I like them. The taste is similar.

Provides decent energy, however some of the flavors are unappealing. The berry flavored packs were the best. Unflavored definitely had a flavor, and it wasn’t great. Overall, a decent product for the price.
