Great quality for the price, I didn't fit the cable for the rear cam to the reversing light as you can just select it from the mirror if you want to view. Power cable was a little short for wife's 2015 Nissan Note power socket in the centre console at the back of the front seats, had to reroute different to what I planned. May get an alternative cable in future to hard wire into fuse box. Does the job for a great price in comparison to what is available in the local well known car store.Video can be selected picture in picture, single either front or back or side by side, you can also switch off the video when driving for the full mirror.I will be purchasing a second one for my car.

A very easy to set up dashcam, and I think it was priced reasonably at 39.99. The picture is clear, and the mirror is nice & large, though the glass has a slight blue tinge. The mirror clips over your existing mirror, and is held in place by rubber brackets. I was a little cynical as to how firmly it would hold the mirror, but after driving up my very bumpy, stony lane, there was no issue with either picture quality, or the security of the fitting. The instructions provided for setting the camera, recording functions etc could have been clearer, but a bit of patience and fiddling around will get you the setup you desire. You can also adjust the positioning of the camera so that it is more centered.The main reason I purchased this dash cam is that I hate lots of screens & devices suctioned to the windscreen, so this was a perfect, neat & discreet alternative, I feel that it would have been useful to have been provided about a dozen adhesive clips, so that the wiring could be secured neatly, and without the mess & distraction of dangling wires (I will have to make these my next purchase). It would have also been nice to be able to access the pictures via my phone, but I guess that more expensive dash cams will offer that feature.Overall, a good product & recommended.

Product its self is decent but it wouldn't record on the supplied sd card and would crash trying to format it. Ended up buying another card and it seems to work fine now. But I paid £20 more for this one than I could have got it from other sellers as it came with an sd card, so I'm pretty pissed off that it didn't work and has now cost me £55 all in for something I could have got £20 cheaper elsewhere!!!

the box arrived and the memory card reader wasnt there. i was assured that one would be dispatched from china. i didnt hold my breath. the unit is easy to fit and does what it says on the box.2 weeks in however the memory card suddenly fails to be recognised by the unit ‘please insert memeroy card’.. you cant reformat it because its invisible to the unit, and my computer, and a digi camera, and another computer in a different card reader so its most definately a faulty card. so no card reader and faulty card. yeah i can go buy a card and reader probably for less than a tenner, but the point of buying this package is so you dont have to go buy a card and a card reader.pretty disappointed to be honest. the unit itself is good value, im only giving the features 1 star because I’m bitter.

It fits well over the rear-view mirror so no more messy sucker marks on inside of front window. We drive with front and rear camera view on show but can easily be switched on/off. Still plenty of mirror to see actual rear view. Bought as a replacement for a camera that does still work but refuses to stay on window now so this type was ideal. Bonus of having rear view mirror as well. Don't need the reversing camera as car has one fitted but as this is an extra red wire it was easy to ignore it! Could do with better instruction manual though but that is the only negative. I did watch a video on YouTube of a similar dash cam so learnt quite a lot from that.

I liked the reviews this item had, despite being a little skeptical as to how effective it would be as a rear view mirror clip on. It was easy enough to install the front camera to the cigarette lighter and hide the wires but I never got to attempting wiring up the rear camera to the reverse light, not even sure how to access the wires on there and this is a little outside my comfort zone. However, I tried the front camera first before deciding what to do with the rear.Unfortunately, this is very much designed for a left hand drive vehicle so beware if purchasing in the UK. The video feed is in a poor position for right hand drive vehicles and will make it difficult to see correctly. I also found that the tint on the mirror was far too strong which made it difficult to use as a mirror at all. The other problem I had with it was that it did not sit over my original rear view mirror correctly and I had to have it as more of an overlap on one side to allow the camera to look out the windscreen. Even then, the view was obscured by the existing mirror column which has some sensors build in. The camera could only see the passenger side.So it wouldn't have been very effective had I continued with it. Returned for a refund. I scored it two stars as I expect it would be better on a left hand drive but that tint is still pretty significant.
