It fits
Original lint trap that came with the dryer rusted through in the corner. To avoid a serious fire hazard I bought this replacement. It Fits. It Works. Easy to use. Seems durable (for now!)

Great replacement part. Fit was a little snug but I will chalk that up to the other one just being so old.

Decent After Market Replacement
This item was supposed to be an after market exact fit for our Whirlpool Gas Dryer. It fits, but does not fit as well as the original equipment manufacturer product. It's curvature goes into the dryer vent with a little force and it also requires a bit of force to remove it for cleaning. As a result, it does have some bends in the frame as a result of this non-exact fit.

Nice replacement
This replaced my old filter nicely. It has a metal screen. Plastic is solid.
