Great product. Definitely worth the money
I’ve been using the ROG Strix Scope II 96 for a couple weeks now, and it’s quickly become my favorite keyboard. The 96% layout is perfect — you get the number pad, arrow keys, and function row without taking up too much desk space. It’s a great balance between compact and functional. The stock switches (I'm using the NX Snow) feel super smooth and sound great right out of the box. They’re pre-lubed and honestly feel better than some higher-end customs I’ve tried. The stabilizers are also really well done — no rattling on the spacebar or enter key.Wireless connection has been rock solid via the dongle, and battery life has been surprisingly good even with the RGB on. You can also switch to Bluetooth or wired mode easily, which is super handy if you’re using it across multiple devices.Build quality feels premium — solid chassis, smooth keycaps, and nice weight to it. The sound-dampening foam inside really cuts down on ping and gives it a nice thocky sound profile.Only downside? The Armoury Crate software is kind of clunky, but once you set your lighting and macros, you don’t really need to touch it again.Highly recommend if you want a high-end gaming keyboard that’s compact, wireless, and ready to go out of the box. It’s not cheap, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for.

Review of the ROG Strix Scope 96 – 6 Months In
What I Love:I’ve been using the ROG Strix Scope II 96 Full Size since October/November 2024, and after six months, I can confidently say this keyboard is top tier in terms of build quality. Every keystroke feels super satisfying—the clickiness is just right, and I can actually feel the difference in pressure when gaming, which is a huge plus. It’s also my daily driver for work. The ability to seamlessly switch between Bluetooth and wired mode with the small toggle switch in the back is super convenient. Battery life? No complaints—easily lasts a full 8-hour workday without breaking a sweat. What I Dislike:If you’ve used any ASUS gear before, you already know the struggle that is Armoury Crate. It's honestly a bit of a nightmare. That said, I do appreciate that for this keyboard, ASUS offers just the AC module directly from their site—way better than having to deal with the full software suite.Overall Opinion:Despite the software headache, this keyboard delivers where it really matters. Solid build, amazing typing and gaming feel, great battery—would definitely recommend!

Super clean layout, buttery switches, and crazy battery life
Build quality is sturdy and premium, and I love that it looks sleek without being over the top gamer-y. If you're looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers on both performance and looks, this one’s a solid pick. The snow keys I got sound amazing, almost makes me want to type just to hear how satisfying it is. I tried the storm keys as well but I didn't really like the clicky sound that some gamers love, so i kept this one ( though the feel of the storm was still very nice.I paired it with a ROG Keris wireless mouse and I can pair them both to the same Omni Dongle that is included, so its super convenient to only have to worry about one usb port being used on my laptop (though i can easily flip and switch on the back and go fully wired with the provided usb-c when a competitive game calls for it. Also has a Bluetooth mode if you aren't bothered by the slight latency that it inevitably happens with any BT device. At this point I've only ever been impressed by Asus's ROG line and I will be sticking with them for years to come. I cant speak to the longevity of the battery life as I've only been using it for about a week but I can say that a single charge lasts me multiple days of heavy use and I'm sure if it could go for a week or more with less usage and lower rbg brightness. Each of the 5 stars is greatly deserved. I'm sure Ill be using this keyboard for years.

Best keyboard I've owned
This is the best keyboard I have ever used or owned. Well worth the money. The quality and feel is among the best, its nice and heavy and stays put where you sit it. The magnetic padded armrest is a great bonus and helps prevent fatigue in the wrists. The mechanical buttons have the perfect amount of click for me, without being too loud. The Battery life is great! The RGB works really well and I like the illumination when the room is dim. I have this paird on the same 2.4 dongle with the Strix impact 3 wireless mouse, the two together are a great combo. Utilizing the 2.4 dongle over bluetooth makes for smooth near zero latency. I would recommend this keyboard.

GREAT Keyboard, so-so software - keys feel like butter
I've been using ASUS products for a VERY long time now... I was in the market for a new keyboard for a new build and just happened to find this ROG STRIX SCOPE II 96 - it ticked all the boxes for me and even added a few I didn't even know I needed or wanted! The "Tri-Mode" options (allowing me to use the keyboard wired, Bluetooth (up to THREE devices), and 2.4GHz wireless) really makes this beast shine (literally). The variety of colors and per-key configurability is fantastic, although I'm not a fan of the Armoury Crate software at all. I stumble through it and end up getting everything configured how I want, but the software itself is just awful... full of bloat and a bunch of garbage I don't want nor need - tons of services and processes running in the background that I don't care for. That said, the keyboard is absolutely great! The smaller form factor does take a weeeee bit to get used to, but once you've re-trained your muscle memory, it's pretty smooth sailing. I'm on the fence as to whether to use the palm rest or not - but it's magnetic and VERY easily removed or re-added at will. The action of the keys feels like butter - one of the nicer boards I've used. I love the lighting options and configurability. Multi-device support is SOLID and just works. I honestly highly recommend this keyboard. It's so good, I can't even justify taking a star away for the bloaty software!
