It works to prevent excessive vibration down to the hand and wrists. Although they do come off regularly.

Great for beginners
These were bought for my wife as she’s recently started playing tennis. The dampener fits nicely on her racquet and she thinks it’s slightly reduced the vibrations through her hand/wrist. My daughter liked it so much that she’s taken the second one for her junior racquet as she loved the pink colour so much!

Fly off atleast once a set
They do a good job but just never stay in place.... Really not fun trying to find them when they fire off mid rally.....
