This microphone kit works great and the sound quality is very clear. It was easy to set up and everything needed was included in the kit. The microphone feels well made and performs well for recordings, calls, or streaming. Overall, it’s a great value and a very good option for anyone looking for a reliable microphone.

I purchased this mic 16 months ago to improve my audio quality while streaming. I started out using it with a USB function straight to the computer. The mic has great gain, and reverb control with the knob directly on the microphone where you can also mute it, simple function and great a microphone. We then upgraded and purchased the Maono Monocaster G1 mixer and use the XLR connection on the back of the microphone. It's very clear and crisp set properly using either USB or XLR. The sound audio is studio quality. When I make clips or go back and watch my videos on demand it's very clear and distinct. The other thing that sets this microphone and company apart is their customer service. The shock mount broke last week, I emailed the customer service department to see if there was anything they could do, they help me very quickly and are shipping me a new shock mount without 10,000 questions of how and why they just responded. Hey, we got you! I gave it five star. Would recommend to anybody that does any kind of podcasting streaming or video making, editing, vlogging etc. The boom arm it comes with is sturdy and I have not had any issues with it. Overall a fantastic product. Great price range. Great customer service.

After doing plenty of research on the variety of dynamic xlr microphones, I kept coming back to the Maono PD200X. Not only is the price point very competitive, but it has the option for USB, and XLR. My first few months of using this mic was through USB, and was told over and over by other gamers I have met that my voice was coming through so clear, and they would ask how that was so. Most people expected me to say it was a $400 mic, but when I told them it was not even 1/6th the price they couldn’t believe me. The mic and app were so easy to setup right out of the box, and it comes with a boom arm that clamps to your desk to free up space. As a new streamer, every inch of desk space matters so this was a plus for me. Since, I have swapped from USB to XLR as my new setup required it for my dual pc setup. And to add, the mic has some rgb, which lets be honest, is always a plus if your on camera. It has a convenient knob that’s easy to access for adjusting your volume and mute with a single press, and it turns red when your muted, so no second guessing, and green when your mic is active. I don’t usually leave reviews for products but I’ve had this mic for over a year now with daily use and have yet to encounter any issues, and still get compliments on the sound quality from both gamers, streamers, and viewers. If your looking to ditch the headset mic, and get a real mic that competes with the high end, but it priced on the lower end side, this is the mic for you.

These mics perform very well! We purchased four of them - to produce a podcast / round-table discussion. The audio was excellent - the tone of the recorded vocals was accurate, clear and had a nice bottom end. PLUS - they look cool with the colorful LED lighting. And these things have USB A and C adapters AND XLR connectors. Mics - Boom stand and cables -- VERY NICELY DONE....

Excellent microphone. Does exactly what I wanted it to do. However, they don’t sell replacement foam windscreens and send you to Amazon to search on your own for a compatible one. That is really unfortunate. They should sell the accessories that go with their products, especially the foam windscreen, which will probably be the first thing that you’ll need to replace.

My Akai Professional MPC Key 61 is already a slam-dunk dynamo but when it comes to microphones this piece of black metal bratwurst is made for more than just podcasts! It is a fine addition to my music studio equipment! While the LED lighting is just for show it adds pizzazz to its visual appeal. I had Googled for microphone suggestions for my keyboard described here but those suggestions are uncomfortably too expensive. When I stumbled into this particular microphone at Amazon I figured it would be worth a try. And a big bargain it is! The clarity is so crisp that I thought my headphones were hearing aids! The microphone gave trouble with no sound output to the speakers at first but I quickly figured out that it was the workstation keyboard I connected the microphone to that needed adjustments with the audio track in the computer project file. So the initial problem was not the microphone but the reception of the latter by the workstation keyboard. A music production workstation synthesizer keyboard such as the Akai Professional MPC Key 61 requires adding an audio track to the song project file, set the external input routing to the input jack the microphone is connected to by setting it to "Input 1" and set the recording enable switch. Don't set the audio track input to "Input 1,2" or you will only hear your voice from one of the two speakers. Lastly, Maono should pack an XLR audio cable for hooking up to the desired device the voice is recorded into along with the USB cable.

I paired this microphone with a XLR mixer and it works great. Haven’t tried USB but sound quality is good. No complaints.
