This thing dramatically increased the range of my Cobra handheld. a bit awkward when fully extended because of the weight but works as advertized.

This greatly increased receiving distance. Haven’t transmitted with it yet so can’t comment on that. Good quality. Would buy again.

Pick up what the stock antenna did not.
Liked that it did pick up more reception. My COBRA HHRT50 picks up more with this antenna. Fits FIRM AND STEADY. I'd Say this is a KEEPER. Nice for when on the road.
