Does what it says on the tin.
This was the perfect solution to my problem: A way to play my SNES carts on my HD TV after my original hardware crapped out on me. To my eye, the performance was spot-on, and I never noticed any lag or major issues. If all you're looking for is something that is affordable and simply works, this is a great solution.

A great way to play retro games, the old school way.
I bought this product on ebay a year or two ago after seeing some YouTube reviews and many of them were positive. At first I war dubious about picking up a clone system after owning the first AtGames megadrive clone which didn't hold up very well after several years of use. The first thing that interested me was the high compatability of this system, and the fact it can play the vast majority of SNES/SFC games whether original, reproduction and even SD flash carts. In fact I haven't yet found a game that doesn't work. It was good value to buy this system with two controllers and all the necessities included, you only need a USB power brick to power the system and it seemed ideal against the extra cost getting an original SNES without the psu, tv out lead etc. The system doesn't get anywhere as hot as an original system and I can see this low consumption unit will last for many years to come. The controllers are nice though you may decide to mod them and upgrade the conductor pads for something tougher or go on ebay and pick up a refurbished SNES controller, I quite like the Hori SFC controller. I gave this 4 stars because out of the box, it isn't picture perfect and takes some work around to get satisfaction out of it. Games tend to have minor glitching where scanlines can be seen on flashing sprites or shadows which can be a bit distracting but you can mask this with an RGB scanline generator and can get one for a little over £20. If your TV has a sharpness setting, keep it around 10% and find a preset that can tweak the colours. The RGB scanliner will improve the colours alot. 👌 Overall for me, it's a keeper.

Everything goes blurry when moving
Seems Amazon deleted my original review, so I’m writing it again. I bought this back in 2018, but I returned it after using it for only a couple of days. The main issue is that during movement, everything goes blurry. It looks fine when static, but the moment there’s movement, it goes blurry. I found it too distracting and couldn’t play my SNES games for long periods. Other people may not be too bothered by this, but I certainly was. While it’s one of the more affordable ways to play SNES games via HDMI, it’s still £60+ and for me this wasn’t good enough, so I returned it.On a positive note, the controllers are really well made and an excellent substitute for real SNES pads if you don’t have any.
