I used this for my family's Christmas photo this year, and it turned out great! I had to figure out how to configure the camera itself to work with the remote, but it was pretty easy and worked amazing.

I just received this, tested it with my camera and it doesn’t work. I can only assume the battery is dead. I’m going to buy a new battery and will update if that is the problem. Actually I’ll update either way. Bought a new battery, still didn’t work. However this was on me, I had to go to my cameras advanced setting and set it to actually work with the remote. Once I got that figured out I did try the original battery and it was dead. New battery (might i add for the same price as this entire remote) and it works fine.

It's very cheaply made. Mine has sharp edges where the plastic seems unfinished. Mine also came with a dead battery. There is a lanyard, with no where to attach it. I guess it being $6.50 means you need to subvert your expectations. I'd much rather buy the official Nikon version, but Amazon doesn't sell it :(

I had to change a setting or two on my camera to get it to work, but after that is worked well.

Great product, worked out of the box, but I had to change the battery replacement. If you buy, make sure to google what kind of settings your camera needs to be able to function properly. I had to drill some holes for the lanyard loop, but other than that amazing product.

Habe den Fernauslöser für meine beiden Nikon-Kameras gekauft. Optisch sieht er aus wie mein verlorenes Original von Nikon, ist aber erheblich preiswerter. Funktioniert tadellos und macht genau das, wofür er gekauft wurde. Die Kamera aus ein paar Meter Entfernung auslösen. Außerdem ist dieser Fernauslöser kompatibel mit sämtlichen Kameras von Nikon, Canon, Sony usw. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!! 👍

Articolo arrivato nei tempi indicati. E' piccolo e maneggevole e già dotato di batteria. Perfettamente compatibile con la Nikon D5200.

So simple to use and very inexpensive. Great if using a telephoto lens on a tripod to minimise camera shake when you press the shutter. The quality of the switch housing is good and the material seems quite durable. Great buy - far better than using a delay timer. Range seems very good - not found a group photo to big so far!
