Not a bad start!
I really appreciate these shakes. They are made for people who does not partake in lots of sugar, and they seem to increase energy while filling up the tank, sort of speak. I must confess that Chocolate is my least desirable, with Vanilla and Strawberry being almost equal. What I do, since I am on the subject, is pour filtered cold water from the fridge, add a couple of tablespoons of whole flaxseed (Premium Gold Whole Flaxseed), a couple of spoons of Black Chia, Frozen Fruit, Dried Apricots they sell at costco, a pack of either Strawberry or Vanilla Extend Shake, and last but not least a nice amount of unsweetened almond milk. Must admit that the reason it works is because of the 750 Vitamix that can grind just about anything, probably even small rocks. The results are an invigorating shake that replaces breakfast, lunch and hopefully mid afternoon snack. Because of the amount of liquid I get about 3 large servings plus. I have been trying, and failing miserably because of dinner amounts, to lighten the load. When I stick to this regimen I feel very good, as long as lots of water is consumed. An expert on the field told me to drink enough water to make number one look like water. There are not many products of this kind readily available, so for now ExtendShake is the one to beat. 4 Stars!

(Even with the lumps it wasn't bad--was almost like drinking a mild brownie mix
First time I tried this I used Lactaid skim milk with a chocolate packet. I found it difficult to mix in a shaker so I suggest a blender or hand mixing the packet with a small amount of liquid before adding the rest of the liquid. (Even with the lumps it wasn't bad--was almost like drinking a mild brownie mix.) I used 8oz of liquid and it is very thick and airy. When I poured this into a glass I was scared. It looked and smelled like shakes that have made me gag. It does leave a little bit of a filmy taste behind but nothing worse than I would expect from a powder-based drink. Compared to Glucerna and EAS it has a much better taste and consistency. Will try to update this in a few hours with how it effects hunger/sugar, etc.

Economical. Great varity taste great
I am a nurse and some days there are no breaks !!!! I mix one of theses with 30 calorie Almond milk in a bottle or thermos and I know I will at lest have a protein boost that takes me thru until the end of my shift. I walk between 10,000 and 11,000 steps in an 8 hour shift (verified by my Fitbit) so on those nights when there is no break nurse. I run into the break room and drink down some of this shake. I love the variety of flavors. They taste great and when mixed with the 30 cal almond milk are very low in calories for the high protein provided. I have tried muscle milk and other protein drinks but they are expensive and for me that drinks then 4 out of 7 days sometimes more this is a more economical option.

Tastes good, works well
I am a SAHM who has some hectic days that lend themselves to pretty poor nutrition. If I am on the ropes I blend up one of these with ice, water and a touch of cream for a very good low carb shake; I am full and happy for 4+ hours. I don't crash and they taste great, I use them a couple times a week when I need them. If want to spruce them up I mix cinnamon and 1/2 apple in with the vanilla, frozen berries with the strawberry, and a shot of espresso with the chocolate adding a spoonful of no sugar choc chips near the end of blending -- it tastes like a Java Chip Frappe! It is nice to have something tasty when your frazzled.PS: I found these when I had gestational diabetes with my youngest and can attest to them keeping blood sugar levels even-steven.

Blunts Appetite
I am quite impressed with these shakes. I make them with a cup of almond milk and a half a cup of water in my Vitamix. They aren't the tastiest mix I've ever made (I think SlimFast and Carnation Breakfast taste better. These are bit too artificial), but the resulting shake is incredibly thick. However, the most impressive part is that they kill my appetite for much of the day. I usually drink one with a small salad for lunch, and I feel great for the rest of the afternoon. By the time dinner rolls around six hours later, I'm not very hungry and I end up leaving at least 1/3 of my food on the plate. For that reason alone, these are worth the price. I just wish ExtendShake tasted a bit more like other commercial nutrition shakes.

Good Product
Yes, I do love it - it is perfect for diabetics - and it really works just as the package says that it does. I don't think it taste bad either - no chalky taste. I cannot say for sure, but I think you will like it.

tasty
Very tasty and thick. I mixed it with half milk/half water. Price was also reasonable as I wanted to sample several kinds of shake and few come in this small a size. I will buy more.

EXCELLENT FLAVOR!!
ALL THREE FLAVORS TASTE REALLY GOOD. I USED 8 OZ OF COCONUT MILK AND ABOUT 2 OZ OF ROCKSTAR ENERGY DRINK TO MIX UP EACH SHAKE.
