Finally, Mosquito-Free Bliss!
As someone who lives in Florida, I consider myself an expert on mosquitos – unfortunately. I've tried every spray, candle, and citronella concoction under the sun, usually with disappointing results. But Thermacell? This is the real deal! From the first time I used it, I was blown away. I set it up on my patio, and within minutes, the relentless buzzing and biting just... stopped. It creates a noticeable, invisible shield around you, making outdoor evenings enjoyable again. No more frantic swatting, no more itchy bites, just peaceful relaxation. What truly makes Thermacell a game-changer for me is how easy and unobtrusive it is. There's no sticky spray to deal with, no overpowering scent like with coils or candles, and it's super quiet. You just pop in a mat and a cartridge, click it on, and you're good to go. It's lightweight and portable, so I take it everywhere – to backyard BBQs, on camping trips, and even when I'm just gardening. If you're tired of being mosquito bait, do yourself a massive favor and get a Thermacell. It's worth every single penny for the freedom it gives you. This is one product I'll never be without!

Highly effective (we live in Minnesota)!
The mosquito is familiary referred to as the "state bird" in Minnesota. With lots of lakes and rivers, mosquitos are prevalent during summer months. Often ruining a beautiful summer evening — when we only really have warm weather half of the year, and only a couple months that are really warm.Thermacell is the difference between enjoying the outdoors and slapping yourself silly. I use this USB powered one when I plan to do work outside, especially good for being in the woods on our river property. The patio unit is great for dinners on the deck, as it matches up with the 3-4 hour outside time window.I had an issue with my unit, and customer service promptly resolved the problem for me.Cannot recommend any higher! Just love them.

Speaking as a mosquito magnet, this works!
I've been using Thermacells on camping trips for three years now. My entire life I've had blood that mosquitos rate "5 stars, would suck again", so when a mosquito repellent works for me, I can definitely tell, and this stuff WORKS! I started with the older rounder style, but switched to the rectangular EX90 a couple years back since it's more compact while providing the same coverage area and battery life. Picked up a second one since I've been at multiple campsites where the fire pit is either more than 20' away from where I've got my cooking area set up, or it's just windy enough that the coverage area is reduced, so I can pop over to one spot and make a cup of tea, then pop over to the fire to drink it, and not get eaten alive at either location.Overall, I'm very satisfied with how well this works - this is a regular use item for me, and I'm happy with how well it works. So don't get me wrong - I love my Thermacell, and I've happily recommended it to others. That being said, I'll take one star off for a couple of shortcomings. First - micro USB to recharge? Seriously? This isn't the early 2000s - it's hard to justify not using USB C for charging. Also, I'd pay a good 50% extra if these things had a simple "hey, there's no cartridge in me, maybe I shouldn't turn on even though my owner's rolled up air mattress is pressing up against my power button" feature. Maybe a little micro switch that's pressed when a cartridge is inserted, or an optical detector that can tell when a cartridge is present, just ANYTHING to keep it from getting accidentally turned on and having its batteries drained in the simple case of "clearly I'm not meant to be running since nobody stuck a cartridge in me".FWIW, my workaround for setting up camp and finding that a stray object has poked my Thermacell's button and drained it dry is to keep a couple of USB recharge banks handy - even if a Thermacell has been accidentally discharged, it'll run (and even recharge) off a Goal Zero or similar battery bank.

It works! Amazing mosquito reppelent for home and hikes, refills are pricy, but no real alternative
I've been using the Thermacell Mosquito Repellent EX90 on my patio here in NYC, and I've got to say, it's a game-changer for those cooler evenings when mosquitoes still want to crash the party. It really does keep the bugs away, and the best part? It's scent-free, so no more dealing with that typical bug spray smell. What I Like:It Works! No more swatting mosquitoes every five minutes. This device creates an invisible shield that keeps them at bay.Battery Life is Solid: It lasts through my entire evening outside—about 9 hours. Plus, it comes with a 12-hour refill.Super Portable: The rubber armor feels sturdy, and the carabiner clip is super handy. I've clipped it to my backpack for hikes with friends, and it's been great for keeping mosquitoes away from our group. What's Not So Great:Refill Costs: The refills can hit the wallet a bit hard unless you snag them on sale.Overall Thoughts:If you're tired of mosquitoes ruining your outdoor fun, the Thermacell EX90 is definitely worth checking out. It's easy to use, effective, and great for both home and outdoor adventures. Yes, the refills can be a bit pricey, but considering how well this thing works, I think it's a fair trade-off.I'm really glad I picked this up—it's made my outdoor hangouts a lot more pleasant. Highly recommend if you're in the market for a hassle-free way to keep those pesky mosquitoes away!

These things work great for the mosquitos here in WV
At this point these things have earned their good reputation. I wish the cartridges weren’t so high but they sure do work! I’ve had mine for a year now and as long as I have juice in a cartridge it’s outside with me keeping the mosquitos from swarming. It works great!

Poor battery life
Battery life is terrible. Need to plug this thing in every evening if you plan to use it. Very expensive refills. Seems to work well, just poor battery life design.
