Excellent!
My old Mister Coffee ice tea maker finally died and needed to be replaced. I decided to try the Wirsh coffee/ice tea makeras the replacement. I don't drink coffee, but consume plenty of iced tea. After making my first batch with the new Wirsh,i knew that I had made an excellent choice. It is very easy to set up, brews the tea quickly and is easy to clean-up. The quality of the tea is excellent. I like the three quart pitcher which is made of glass. My old ice tea maker had a plastic pitcher and became stained from the tea. it was almost impossible to remove the stains. The glass pitcher does not stain and is very easy to clean. The wide opening allows the user to reach the bottom with their hand to scrub the inside. For the price, I consider this a real value.

Fits in the Wirsh Ice Tea & Coffee Maker
My only complaint is that it feels thin, like it will break easily. So far so good. I didn't see anywhere on the paperwork that it is made not to shatter into sharp pieces. I may have missed that. I am being cautious using it. I will try to remember If/when one breaks to update this review and let you know if it is easily broken and/or dangerous. (My physical issues leave me clumsy. I am not the only person in this situation.). EDIT it is now September and it has held up just fine. I haven't dropped it yet, but routine bumps and thermal shock hasn't bothered it. One issue, with the cap on it doesn't pour smoothly.

Love this!! We switched from using a plastic pitcher to this tea maker I believe the tea taste better in glass!!

Pitchers break easily
The ice tea maker is great. Love having glass pitchers instead of plastic. The glass pitcher broke only using it for 3 months and I was always very careful putting ice in and washing it. I had bought an extra pitcher so I could have sweet and unsweetened tea both at the same time. The second pitcher is expensive to have it break only after 3 months.

The Glass Pitcher Breaks EASILY, even when extremely careful with it.
The tea maker itself is Great….BUT….the pitcher broke almost immediately. I love the glass pitcher, but it’s too fragile. I bought the replacement pitcher……yeah, it just broke too.

Great replacement pitcher
The pitcher that came with our machine cracked after several years of use. I found this replacement pitcher online and am so glad it did. It's the perfect replacement pitcher for our machine.
