We have purchased these many times before and they have been excellent. Unfortunately this time we went for the larger box the quality when used is very poor.They continue to break, may be they have been drop or knock about. Normally l would have given them full star.Very disappointed.

Definitely my favourite - soft, nice bright colours, easy to sharpen, doesn't cost arm and leg. Bought it twice already and would buy it again.They are so soft you might need to sharpen them slightly more often, but a twist or two and you are done. I don't think I had any of these pencils to break while sharpening.At the time I wished colour selection was better (we got 24 colours - there was no 36 colour option back then). And I see the price is really jumping up... The first time I bought it for £2.20, now it's £7.98... So I should probably drop a star for that. But the quality really stands out. I can't compare them to professional pencils, but compared to a few low to mid price range ones (I've tried 4-5 set) these are no doubt the best.And, of course, check the number of colours as some sets are meant for classrooms and have them repetitive.

These pencils were great and I bought two boxes of 500 in June 2021. The colours are good and they sharpen well.Went to reorder today and they have doubled in price which now doesn't make them so cost effective so I will be sourcing coloured pencils from alternative suppliers. Such a shame, but I have a restricted budget to work towards.
