Installation was not difficult but performance is just okay. One side seems to alarm just fine but the other side sometimes doesn’t when I think it should have. However, the biggest problem is it’s really only useful if you drive on four lane roads a lot. Probably 90% of my driving is on two lane roads where it isn’t much use. Makes me wonder why I bought it. You should be aware that the unit does not alarm when you’re passing cars so it is no help in telling you when it’s safe to pull over after you pass. The alert lights are also not a very bright light or color. These should flash a brighter light to help get your attention. Update: I’m updating my 3 star review to 5 stars because after reading the above review Innov offered me a full refund. I didn’t accept the full refund offer because I still have the unit on my bike but you have to appreciate a company that monitors their reviews and then goes above and beyond to resolve issues or not being fully satisfied with the product. Most of the other reviews are positive so maybe my case is an outlier.

Easy install -- with clear instructions, basically the ACC fuse + battery connections, then a simply mount on the rear. Wiring could be more sturdy -- but gets the job done. After 2000 mile trek -- Philly to Nova Scotia -- I can say this tool is especially useful on the highway. Doesn't replace best practices with lane switching but it is useful. Grateful for their design & build efforts!

Update 10/20/2024: We ride the bikes using the ThirdEye. The product worked beyond my expectations. Whenever the cars/motorcycles were in the blind spot, the lights lit 100 percent of the time. It is definitely great for another safety device on the bikes. I did add an on/off switch for group riding I purchased two ThirdEyes for me and my wife’s Can Am Ryker. The installation was straightforward. This adds another safety device for the bikes. I am going to add an off/on switch because of the group riding we do at times. This gives us the capability to turn off the system to keep the system from activating because of the group riding. Otherwise, two thumbs up on Innovv and the product.

Installed on my Harley-Davidson Road Glide Special 2022. I wish for the price it should have come with a Relay (slightly negative sentiment because of the lack of). Im glad that they included that rectangular plastic sensor mount that can conform to match the curves on the Fender. I placed the Lights in my field of vision. It works and Im happy with it. I am happy that it does not need manual calibration. It does not come with functionality where you can connect your phone with it. Overall its a good investment. It just works. Not complicated to operate.

After (only) 2.5 days - I rode this morning too - I cannot say enough good things about this system. A) It took a total of 90 minutes to install (included reading the instructions). B) On the highway/parkway, it worked as well as any BSM integrated system on any car I've driven. C) In a practical application on the way home yesterday, I was leaning the bike towards a lane change, but the light came on and I didn't have to do a quick lane correction. D) Works completely as advertised. Is it a luxury and not a necessity? Yes. But, having said that; neither was cruise control or built-in navigation. I definitely feel this is a great addition and if you have an extra $268 (Amazon) lying around, I highly recommend it. Especially if you do a lot of highway riding.

I really wanted to love this thing, but it was just a dud. I used it for a total of 2 hours and could not for the life of me see the light in the bright Florida Sun rendering it completely useless. Sent it back as soon as I got home. Such a shame I hope they make a different version that can show better in a bright and sunny day, then I would consider it again.

Riding a Motorccle in New Jersey is Suicide. Cars have too much power and acceleration. The Blind Spot is a BIG PROBLEM for Me on a Motorcycle; a MISTAKE and I am Dead; people are moving at 70 and 80 MPH. This thing REALLY WORKS SEAMLESSLY. Instalatin was easy and the one I have with Red Lights in the mirror makes people think twice when they are cutting you off; it scares them. The device works so good I was thinkinhg of just buying another one to have on the shelf in my garage. I have it wired on an external battery on my motorcycle; one night I had problems with the battery not being charged....I got off the bike and refused to ride...ITS THAT GOOD

Really well made item does exactly what it states

This is a very well made unit. Easy to set up, and with generous cable lengths to make routing the wires easy. Before I got this unit, I thought I was very aware of the traffic around me. This thing has proved I was unaware of a lot of vehicles approaching from behind. I’m very happy with its performance. I fitted this under the number plate on my R1250GSA. The luggage frame extends down underneath.

Montaggio molto semplice su versys 1100 my25 . Negativo alla batteria e positivo sotto chiave su rosso luce targa. Il tutto sotto la sella. Radar sistemato storto valigia posteriore e ricevitore su cruscotto. Funziona piuttosto bene al momento ed il cicalino si sente anche con il casco chiuso. Molto utile per i punti ciechi specie nelle rotonde e per riconoscere gli imbecilli col GS che sebbene hanno una moto meno potente ti devono sorpassare a 30 cm di distanza. Consigliato
