I think my cat is the problem
Anyone else's fur babies trying to kill them? My cat is spicy on a good day, but I've had trouble breathing/sleeping lately. Never really had a problem before, but as I approach the beginning of my 40s, I am accepting my body doesn't work anymore.I hate going into the dr, so I figured I would give a home test a try.The box was very well organized and put together. I wasn't prepared for how many steps and things to do. Luckily, my overwhelmed brain took it one step at at time and figured it out. I'm glad they sent extra band-aids and poker-thingies because it took me a few tries (my poor fingers). I attached images if you want to check out the pieces or instructions. I put my box in the mail and had results back quicker than I was expecting.I really like how easy to understand my results are. In other tests I have to become a dr to figure out what all the numbers and charts mean. I was really surprised my cat was marked "low", but it looks like that didn't stop cat being part of my treatment. Also, just learning it can be treated. More on that later. I was surprised sagebrush and several trees showed up in my results! I spent a bit of time going through and reading up on all the different things I am allergic to. I am starting to wonder if my cat isn't the problem. Well... not for this, at least. Could puke on the wood floor instead of the carpet...I don't know anything about allergy drops treatment. I honestly didn't even know drops were an option. I am still doing research on it, but it is really interesting. They have so much information to read and learn about the drops. I really appreciate how clear and easy it is to understand. It looks like if you are interested in treatment, they let you choose anything you are positive for, which is really nice. Now I just have to decide what things bother me the most.Overall, I think this test was worth it. I don't know if I will do the treatment, but I am really intrigued and I like that it is an option.

Not worth the money
Don't bother taking this test if you suspect you have respiratory allergies to something mundane. It didn't even identify my pet allergies. They also try to push their allergy drops on you. Not to mention how much blood they needed! Holy cow. Just get an air purifier or a better vacuum or talk to an allergist. The only pro I can think of is that the overall design and instructions that came with the kit were very clear, informative and user friendly.

Informative and Simple At-home Test
Loved the convenience of an at home test. Used this to confirm allergies to specific animals/pets for which I had always suspected of causing allergies. Was also able to identify additional allergies I wasn't aware of. It's good to know how to obtain treatment if needed. As far as the test goes, I liked the simplicity and fast results. Didn't have to stress with an appointment or waiting at a clinic. Filled out the info in the app, mailed the completed test kit, and forgot about it.Results came back quick, even with a major holiday (Christmas), turn around time from mailing to results was just over a week.Definitely recommend for a quick way to identify potential causes of allergy symptoms and possible treatment.

Maybe growing pains maybe cash grab?
I’m always weary of companies that spend too much time and money on advertising/packaging/image because that means they aren’t spending it on other things…anyways - my order came and sat on my counter for a couple days - I drew the blood sent it off - and did not get my results until the return window was closed / that’s about a month - during that time the team responded to my messages and were perfectly pleasant - the test results were as I suspected but still informative…sort of ( - basic charts with names of allergens and your bodies response - I mean REAL basic - number up high allergy number down low allergy ) and just zero in depth analysis - they never ask you if you want to be tested for specific allergens- which is something I wanted because I live under two giant mulberry trees- would have been nice instead I got tested for like 10 types of grass. 😐they clearly just run generalized batches based on a regional-ish categorization to save money and cut down on specific tests which is fine / but atleast ask me. And finally the worst part / only after I paid them and did the test for the results etc did they tell me I’m not even eligible for the product they sell! It’s a Kentucky thing apparently which means they knew the whole time ! Just a little shady guys - but thanks I’ll try and stay away from the GRASS.

Informed and ready to address my allergies
This at-home allergy test has been a revelation for me. The simplicity of the kit, coupled with clear instructions, made the testing process a breeze. Taking the test at home was not only convenient but also reassuring, and the accuracy of the results rivaled those obtained at a clinic. The detailed report provided a comprehensive breakdown of my specific allergens, empowering me to make informed choices about my environment and lifestyle. I was also give a recommendation for their at home treatment plan which I'm going to get started on.The amazing customer support further confirmed Nectar's commitment to customer satisfaction. Investing in this at-home allergy test is a small price to pay for the significant positive impact it has had on my daily life—I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking reliable allergy insights.

It was cool
Seems to test mostly for northern region allergens. Not terribly helpful for those in the south.
