Magnet wasn't strong enough for any of my cases.
Didn't use. Turned out the magnet wasn't strong enough to attach to any of the cases I have. I got three cases and none of them would work with this. I bought another magnet attachment and it worked great with all three cases. Not sure what's wrong. Two stars because it's made really well. Minus three for me for not being able to stick to any of my cases.

I gave this ring a 5 star, because it's a great ring, but.....
I did give this ring a 5 star rating because it is a great ring for the purposes it claims, but just beware it does not allow my Galaxy S24 Ultra to charge while in the Wireless Charger for Samsung Devices, 4 in 1 Wireless Charging Station for Galaxy S24 Ultra I purchased to wirelessly charge my phone on the nightstand and the ring actually gets hot, not just warm, but hot sitting/charging in the Magsafe Charger Samsung USB C Magnetic Wireless Fast Charger 15W for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra that I purchased to charge my phone at work. So, you'll need to remove the ring in both cases, but still not a deal-breaker because on my leather Mous for Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Case MagSafe Compatible - Limitless 5.0 - Black Leather - Protective S24 Ultra Case - Shockproof Phone Cover I purchased for the Ultra, it doesn't scratch the case as some reviewers mentioned with their cases. I give Mous Phone Grip Ring 5 stars for a sturdy grip and ability to rotate the ring for positioning the phone in portrait or landscape viewing, price and quality, but charging my phone, I have to remove it, but since Mous doesn't claim it will, I can't justifiably deduct any stars. Overall, I'm happy with it.

Works, but magnet could be stronger
This is decent. The low weight and low profile are the standout features. Others I've used have been heavy and thick. One thing ALL of these types of phone grips need is an easier way to deploy them. When I want to pull the ring out I have to turn the phone around and grip the phone with one hand while trying to get a finger under the ring to pull it out with the other hand. There needs to be a leverage point or something to allow you to push on one side of the ring to pop the other side out one handed.Another downside is the magnet strength. It sticks to the phone and works as a grip just fine. However it can pop off easier than it should. I've popped it off the case just trying to pull the ring out.Other ring grips I've used I could literally put a finger through the ring and spin my phone around with zero worry about the phone coming detached. This one however I would not chance that with, it is most definitely not strong enough.

very slim and functional
Great product that is slim and unobtrusive while functioning great in multiple scenarios.

Not to be trusted in practical ways
If they would accept a refund I would gladly give it back. If they won’t I would gladly donate it. It seems to stick good but the minute you drop phone it disappears off the back and where it stops is many times hard to guess. I have made the mistake of finding it and just putting it on and then twisting it to get it in the right position and I started to notice that the dirt from the phone or magnet scratches the carbon fiber Mous Case. It’s quite honestly my least favorite purchase from them.

Compared to pop socket
I have always used a stick on Popsocket prior to trying the MagSafe grip and switched because the pop socket would damage my phone case if it had to be removed. That is not an issue with the magnet. It is a strong magnet that doesn’t slip or feel like it will fall off without purposely trying to pull it off. One downside to me is having to reposition the magnet every time I switch from vertical to horizontal view on my phone. With the pop socket, it didn’t matter how I was holding my phone, it was the same either way. The small metal circle also becomes uncomfortable after awhile and digs into my finger. I think a magnetic pop socket would be the best of both worlds, but that’s just my opinion.

Not a great phone stand.
This works fine (not great) as a grip for your phone, but every time I try to use the stand function, my phone tips over. I've tried adjusting it multiple ways, but its instable all around. Too bad they make it so you have to destroy the package to open it to try it, otherwise I'd be sending it back. Magnet could be stronger, too. Not inexpensive, either!

As cool as you think it might be
This is an imaginative little piece of industrial design. It riffs off the fact of Magsafe, in fun ways. It does everything you hope it would - mainly standing up your phone, and not being too thick. It also *maybe* works as a belt holster. I say maybe because I haven't figured out just the right configuration yet. All I want is a place to "drop" my phone, and then grab it from, as smoothly as possible, for looking at my list in the grocery store. This little gadget (and it is totally a gadget) just might help the computer in your pocket be a little less obtrusive.Long term testing notes: none yet. Obviously if the friction hinges wear out, it's a lot less useful. Company claims they'll be good for like 10k actions, or something like that...if it lasts a few years, I'll consider it money well spent.
