What give with Phillips?.. they must be taking a page out of Procter and Gamble's price playbook.. everything they sell is WAY OVERPRICED. The toothbrush refills.. and this stupid little charger. I left mine at a hotel while traveling, and obviously needed another one. Go to the Phillips website and enjoy the frustration and pricing at that colossal disaster website.. have fun. So... just like their overpriced toothbrushes, I decided to look elsewhere for a REASONABLY priced charger replacement and found this one. HOWEVER... the very odd thing about this charger, is that for some reason, all of the replacements that are available on Amazon (and Ebay for that matter) ONLY sell you the silver charger base.. they do NOT provide the little plastic top that fits on top of the charger with the indented hole to vertically place the toothbrush for recharging.. what gives on that?.. seriously?? as if this is some super-secret-James Bond part that is hidden somewhere with the Arc of the Covenant. BUT.. this particular supplier actually supplied the aforementioned hard-to-find part WITH the charger base. If you need this, then get one here because you get both pieces.

Works as expected and the small holder for the toothbrush is a nice alternative to the cup. 1/3 to 1/6 of the price of a new brushset though just for the charger.

Left my toothbrush charging for a full 48 hours, and the charger did not work at all, my toothbrush was still dead after 48 hours. My outlet was working fine, and the toothbrush I have is the proper model for this charger. The charger is just a dud. Will be returning.

I bought this for when I travel. It charges well. Only drawback for me is the small surface area you have to balance/stand the toothbrush for charging. (I have the larger cup charger at home where you can just place/lean the toothbrush in what looks like a juice cup). It can be relatively easily tipped over at times but fits the purpose for my travel charger. It’s easy to pack and take without worry of breaking.

I purchased this product as a consequence of Covid, and had no need to use it until 2 1/2 months later only to find out that it does not work and is now beyond the return date.
