First device had a problem in power button that eventually failed in week 3. I suppose that happens with anything you buy online.But the TENS was so effective in those first weeks, I returned for an identical unit which is working great +3 months later.Red pads supplied with Neocarbon unit are significantly better quality (more durable) than cheaper replacement pads (white). Plus, I found that the adhesive from the white pads irritated my skin after prolonged use. Red pads did not.Unit recharges quickly as advertised, and might last the represented 50 hours if you use the lower power setting. But running at full blast in EMS mode on both channels it will go closer to 35 hours.Unit is very handy, portable, intuitive to use and has adequate power. Case is a nice addition to hold supplies.TIP: If you are using this a on your lower back or legs, I recommend a back-up set of wires. While the original wires are tough and hanging in, if they are running across your back or down leg, they will take a beating from the accidental yanking and snagging on clothes. I've started using surgical tape to hold the slack in place against my skin. But unit and wires are still getting knocked around.Not sure these things work for everyone, but mine has been a game changer and I go to sleep every night with it set on 60 min. Dare I say these are addictive. When my sciatica is bad, I use it 12 plus hours / day. So addicted, I am looking at the 4 channel model before too long. However, this addiction is far less problematic than using pain meds and nearly as effective with constant use.This is a DEF recommend

Highly recommend this unit. It is top quality and stays charged for a long time. I have reused the pads several times and they have great sticking power. Nice compact unit, good for travel. Works great for back pain.

I love the 3 modes, TENS, EMS. & RELAX, it has multiple setting which each mode. Charges easily and quickly. Charges last through multiple uses. You can pick from 10 minutes to 60 minutes at a time. The pads stick very well and i've gotten probably 20 uses from them before changing them out. This has been a game changer. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so I find myself very stiff when first waking up and I use it for about an hour and I'm great for the rest of my day. It really helps to loosen up my muscles and joints. Storage case is small and compact easy to carry or pack for vacations.

I have purchased two, one black the other red of the same model. There are many features I really like about this unit. I purchased this to replace my old faithful unit of some 15 years. I had two prior competitors models one we barely use I cannot find a setting that is comfortable.Pros:-It is compact enough to drop it in a side or back pocket tuck in the wires and go about your business relatively unnoticeable.-Easy to find a setting you like. The screen is simple, and not so many settings that you cannot find what you are looking for. This screen is easy to read for older eyes.-Easy to recharge, although I admit I miss my unit that ran on a 9v battery.Cons:-The ad states that this unit provides up to 50 continuous hours once fully charged. This might be true on the lowest setting possible. But definitely not correct on a mid range setting of 10. I have chronic low back pain, so I attach the unit early in the morning, I let it run for about 4 hours per day, I use it three days and need to recharge. I do not even get the full 4 hours on the third day. This is the same for both units so it is doubtful that one unit is defective.Overall I really do like this unit, I simply do not believe that a Lithium battery is the best choice for a unit that you want to use all day long.Would I recommend this unit, definitely. Just need to deal with recharging a little to frequent.

He sent me a different Amazon model, but after some research, I went with the NEOCARBON SM9055 Black unit.This unit comes with everything including:1. A nice zip-up storage that holds everything. It has mesh pockets on both sides so nothing falls out when you unzip. It is very similar to what you would use to store an external USB hard drive.2. USB-C charging cable.3. Two connecting cables, one end goes to the unit (A or B) and the other end goes to two pads.4. 12 pads and two storage “stick pads here” for storage. So far, I’ve only opened 4 pads and they continue to remain sticky even after a handful of uses.5. User Manual and quick guide tells you how to operate the unit, where to place the pads, and how to troubleshoot.Pros:1. Between the TENS (12), RELAX (24), and EMS (36) patterns, there are 72 options.2. There is a timer and you can go from 10 to 60 minutes in intervals of 10.3. You have the ability to change the intensity on each channel independently.4. The intensity is no joke, plenty of “juice” in this little unit to get the job done.5. USB-C charging vice batteries.6. Ability to “lock” by pressing the power button so you don’t accidentally change settings.Cons:1. My only minor complaint is the intensity starts at 0 and you have to increase it manually each time.
