Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte 3.3 Fl Oz

I first encountered this fragrance in France in the early 2000’s. I’ve bought it plenty of times since and am very familiar with it in its different concentrations. This is absolutely authentic and seems quite fresh. At half the retail price, I’m very glad to have found it here on Amazon. This cologne is one I usually wear in the summertime but think it would work all-season too, but more of a daytime fragrance when it’s not warm out. It’s really great smelling and not overly sweet or feminine, just classic and refined. Just an FYI, this concentration “eau de toilette” is the stronger of the two available. The other being “eau de cologne.” I add this info because I’ve had the nomenclature reversed in my mind for years and find this version to have a good bit more staying power than what I’ve bought in the past. Update 2021 December - On my second order of this product, I received something that looked and was packaged exactly as before but smelled totally different. Which is to say it had almost no smell at all! The fragrance was similar to the original D’orange Verte but was so diluted that only the top note of orange came through, and only for a few minutes, then it was gone. After spraying this for the first time, I actually grabbed a bottle of another cologne to smell because I feared I was losing my sense of smell to Covid! I had not lost my sense of smell, it was the product that was deficient. Subsequent to my last order here on Amazon, I ordered the same product directly from Hermes and found it exactly the same as what is sold here. Hermes must have changed their product!

Original scent DNA, discounted price, cmon! Many people say it doesn’t last long, well it’s an EDC; it’s not meant to project very hard or last very long. It is a great natural scent.

Do not buy this product, it is a fake. It smells like pure alcohol.

I bought this to replace a bottle I had bought somewhere else. This is really more of a summer fragrance. Its delicate and doesn't have a long lasting or overwhelming smell. I work in restaurants and this is one of the few fragrances I can wear so that the guest won't taste the cologne in their food. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants an attractive warm weather smell that is citrus based and subtle. I have received countless comments on how good I smell with this on.

This is one of my favorite fragrances by Hermes. If you likes oranges you'll probably love this. On me it easily lasts about 8 hours, projects well and has a beautiful light orange/citrus scent all day. I prefer wearing it in summer when it's warmer weather as it's very fresh; it would probably get lost on a cold day, but I've not worn it in winter to test it out.

This is an Eeu de Cologne, not an EDT (Eau de Toilette). Big difference on the concentration of fragrance and how long it lasts. it's marketed as an EDT, says on the picture (box) in the display, says in the description it's an EDT, but it is not. Disappointed because I LOVE the fragrance - have worn it for many years. False marketing if you know fragrances - they're betting on the consumer not knowing the difference but there is.

Nice orange scent without being too linear. It also smells unique... doesn't just smell like orange or sweet orange oil. I would buy this again. This is a good blind buy if you are looking for it. The box was a bit beat up upon arrival but not too noticeable. UPS workers sometimes play soccer with the packages, so it happens time to time. Great product, would recommend and buy again. This is a safe blind buy too, imo.

Smells good but fades fairly quickly.
