When their music is on, I feel young again!
Hard to believe how time turns some of the most beautiful young lads into charming mid-aged has-beens. Thanks to the genius idea of blending circus elements into live concert cuz since life is a show itself! What a great metaphor! After so many years, Gary Barlow looks even more attractive than his young look! How gorgeous! He always sings his heart out. There are moments I literally burst into tears when their lyrics touch my heart. I find their music highly irresistible! A bit weird that they somehow managed to distill the best parts of being young and melted them in their songs. Timeless! They are the true voice of Brit teen pop in 90s who survived

Sensational
Received my Blu Ray last week and waited till the weekend to watch it, The wife and i are big Take That fans only recently becoming fans as we're in our 30's and really didn't like them the first time around. I have to say this is possibly the best concert release i've ever seen. Technically and musically. I never see them live on this tour but now wish i had. It's pure entertainment from beginning to end. Its not just a concert its a huge show. with amazing dance routines from the performers. They get the old stuff out the way at the beginning, bringing it up to date too. The show seems to just get better and better.Another thing is the editing of the show, For once its not too choppy with cuts every couple of seconds which i've noticed on the last 2 Take That releases, which makes for an enjoyable experience. This Blu Ray has one of the best quality picture i have seen. if you was there you will certainly find yourself amongst the crowd. even at long distance. Sound quality is top notch too with a DTS HD MA track which is like being there. a standard Dolby 5.1 and PCM 2.0 is included also which was nice. A good bonus was the Abbey Road recording of 11 songs from the last 2 albums. very much keeping in tune with the recent channel 4 series Abbey Road, The guys all remain seated and are accompanied by an orchestra. Songs are toned down a bit to fit the ambience. All in all i can't recommend this Blu Ray enough, I just wish i had been there. One thing i wished for was more extras, maybe a doc on the making of the production. If you like Take That then your mad not to get this.

thoroughly entertaining
Let me make it clear ..... I am NOT a Take That fan (Phil Collins yes) .... but .... what a fantastic show and on blu ray the colours and clarity are beyond belief. My son and his girlfriend went to see the concert live and thought it was very good. I was flicking the channels on the TV over Christmas when the concert was broadcast and realised then that it was a good visual concert. Based on a circus the acts and visual images were very good. Having watched the concert on TV I had considered getting the DVD as thought it would be better production than the TV version. I then bought a blu ray machine so decided to get the blu ray version ..... good choice. Even if like me you are male in your 50's and not a fan from the first time round, I believe you will still be very impressed with the showmanship of Take That and the non stop enjoyment of the circus performers/acts ..... especially the 'elephant'.

Almost as good as being there!
We were fortunate to get tickets for the Sunderland concert and had an astounding night. I wouldn't normally purchase a video of a concert, however this one was so brilliantly put together, I thought I would chance my pennies. The DVD has come out brilliantly. It actually does reflect the experience of being there far better than expected, though admit I'm pleased that we have surround sound at home to get the full benefit!! I reckon that the bigger the screen and with surround sound, it is almost as good as we experienced whilst there. Maybe better .... since we were seated up in 'the gods', so this way we get to see some of the stuff that thrilled us so much at closer viewpoint.Would I buy it again if I lost my copy? Yeah, I definitely would!

A revelation
I am not TT's number one fan by a long way. I do not like all the songs that much but I do think Gary Barlow is a superb songwriter and has a warmth to his voice that is appealing. My wife and I watched the behind the scenes documentary on TV so decided we wanted to see the show. Bought the Blu-ray and watched it tonight. We were so impressed - that is certainly the way to stage a pop concert!!I love rock music really (I am an Elbow fan in a big way) but could not resist this show. It was mature, exciting, beautifully designed and executed. The sound is excellent and the visuals sharp and colourful. Take That really deserve their success and seem to be really enjoying themselves more the second time around. Good luck I say.

Absolutley brilliant!!
I received this dvd the day it was released.I have since watched it twice. It is amazing,i went to see the show live but there are lots of little things i didnt see at the concert which i got to enjoy at home. Its not like your average music concert, its like a show with circus acts galore - including tight rope walkers and acrobats galore. The 'show' included fireworks, water, fire and a bit of comedy. The boys are brilliant and can sing live much better than anyone else ive seen.To many best bits to mention! Not just for take that fans,i think this would be enjoyed by anyone, even my boyfriend commented how good it was.The quality of the picture is great and not one bit is missed out from the show.Typing this make me want to watch it again now, lolYou wont be dissapointed.

A wonderful opportunity........
........to see all the parts of a fantastic show that you missed because you were too small / behind the elephant (all will be revealed on the DVD....) or simply not at the gig! Seriously, we saw the show in Manchester and watching this excellent production has greatly enhanced our memories of a brilliant day. It has allowed us to take in the whole spectacle rather than the bits we just happened to see at the time. And what a show it is! The Take That boys are such pros and the rapport between them is a joy to watch. We did feel at some points, however, that the music got a bit 'lost' in all the razzamatazz - so to find a totally stripped back performance (Abbey road) as an extra was a real bonus. Turn the lights off, crank up the volume, pour a glass of something chilled and relive the magic.
