Another strong story line for the second book in the series. Trials of fickle magic, nasty opponents, and difficult undertones to the politics surrounding the fae court. Our hero is attempting to complete her bargain with the prince and so much more how will she fair?

Oh my goodness this series has got me HOOKED!! Krista your writing is incredible, I'm so invested in the characters, the storyline, the relationships. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your books thank you for being awesome!!

Bloody good book! Full of intrigue, surprise, suspense and love! Wonderful 2nd book in the series, cannot wait to start book 3!

Beautifully written and full of suspense, had me on the edge of my seat throughout the queens trials. I can’t wait for the next book and for the king to be slaughtered

A brilliant series so far in this fantasy land of snow and ice where the fairies live. Ilia a is desperately trying to revive the land to grow crops after everything seems to fail she is also being taught how to use her powers as she has to face a trial set by the King to be the next Queen and to marry Prince Norivan whom she has discovered is her mate. There is so much corruption and deceit in the Palace including the King there is hatred and fear but the King hides his true self from the people. Iliana has to flee will she and her Prince ever be together or will their love destroy them. I look forward to the next book.

Was so excited to start this 2nd book and i haven’t been disappointed. The storyline flows, the characters come to life as I read each page. The ending was brilliant but offered so much more in the next book, which im itching to get started on.

I truly couldn't put this one down, and I had absolutely fantastic loved every bit off it,I would highly recommend to readers that this series is just getting started.

Amazing and intense! Just so you know this book ends in a cliffhanger and it’s a drop your jaw type of ending but one you see coming. I didn’t think I would like this 2nd installment but it was better than the first book. There is so much to this story and world. There is passion, steamy scenes, nail biting action, villains that you really hate but most of all engaging main characters. The author manages to keep Illara and the prince constantly evolving and lovable. I love their story. Can’t wait to read 3rd book

It was even better then the first book! Great story line and character development. The story can be slightly predictable at some points but there are also some unforeseen plots. I really enjoyed the continuation of the series and can’t wait to read the next !

OMG what a cliffhanger,that saved it for me in the end and made it really enticing for the Next book.The trials were nothing new and predictable, and a bit too simple for my taste. But I really liked the story around it and I have great hopes for the third book. what will happen, will a few questions finally be answered? We‘ll see ;)
