Great kit
Like most Tamiya kits- great looks and a quality build. I wasn’t disappointed.

I am pretty much committed to Tamiya at this point. I find that their quality of products and how closely they represent the actual object (albeit, cars, planes and military tanks) is far superior to say Trumpeter (in my opinion). This model is for those who have had some experience as some of the parts are very small (great detail) and a few of the instructions assumes you have some experience in construction. There are a few of “oh that goes there” moments that might be lost on a new modeler. The scale is great for folks of my age group as they are small but manageable. Note, some are really small requiring a tweezer and glue and tension all at the same time. Can be daunting, but satisfying end product.

Value for the price
I bought the kit on sale and the fact that it included the Soviet truck was even better. New instructions and easy to build, but with some smaller detail assemblies to make look realistic. Only things I remember being problems were the decals. The tiger snarl covered some bolts up front and didn’t look right, so I cut away the decal paper and painted that small area. One star and Rices Red Devils just fell off and crumbled. Replaced it with a spare decal from another kit.

Tamiya's Best M4 Sherman
This is the fourth Tamiya M4 variant I've built and it's been my favorite. Great overall "Easy Eight" kit with excellent details and upgrades to the M2 heavy machine gun and two crewmen. The unique paint scheme makes it especially fun.Only minor complaint was the sanding and putty required to fill a surprising turret seam but that turned out fine.Gave it some aftermarket stowage for an authentic Sherman "lived in" look, and the result was a unique American tank I’ll enjoy displaying for a long time.As noted, this kit comes with a bonus Russian "Field Car" which is a pretty bare bones item on it's own (no stowage, decals or figure) but would be a nice element in a diorama.
