Q: does baby need to bite and suck at the same time?? my son gets frustrated with those because he can’t figure them out

It does not require the baby to suck and bite the straw at the same time to suck liquid out of the cup. You can remove the straw lid and try giving him an open cup first.

Q: If dropped by 11 month old does the lid / straw easily come apart? How probable is water leaking from bottle? Thank you

It leaks, this cup is better for older babies. But my baby used it when she was 12 months in her high chair wi water in it only so it wasn’t a big deal if she spilled. It is more of a training cup.
