It has an auto shut off which is great, but we thought the charge had gone. Love this light for camping! The height adjustment exceeded our expectations. Great light

We call this our “moth lamp” and it’s huge and bright for camping. Lasts what we need it for although you definitely need to charge it between trips as it goes through battery quickly, but super helpful for group camp trips.

This light is bright and illuminates a decent area when extended upward. I have used this in the pitch dark while out camping and you can easily see everything around you. It’s very easy to use and operate. I recommend also purchasing the “light filters” with this purchase to reduce the amount of insects you attract. This product is worth the money.

While camping we put it on top of our table so we can play card games and actually see what we're doing. While at work, we use it in dark closets while making repairs. It provides decent light that isn't harsh. Unfortunately it's quick to drain in my opinion. We get maybe 90-120 minutes of light out of it. Fortunately it's somewhat quick to charge, and it can charge/run at the same time....so we bought one of those cell phone charging bricks and duct taped it to the light to give us hours of additional light.

Build quality is amazing. This is the only camping light (on an extendable pole) that can handle harsh rain storms. Other brands say do not run in rain, or only can be used in light rain. I also bought the colored amber and red caps to reduce the harshness of the light. Only con is that there are no included instructions, the gift tag has a QR code to scan for the users manual. Sadly when you follow the link, it goes to their website but the 800 model doesn't have instructions. You hold down the button when the light is on and you can change the intensity setting. Single press will turn the unit on or off. If you double press the light will change from 4 sides being lit to just 2 sides. Will buy another one. Wish the 1200 was cheaper, I would buy that instead.

Fits perfectly. You can see everything around you without losing your night vision. It doesn't attract bugs either (a plus). The two colors work for any environment. I'm not soft on things when I go camping, and the material is strong and can handle some abuse.
