Illustrations are delightful, simple approachable for all. “You and I turned into we.” How sweet. Every new mom will adore this connections to her feelings toward her child at birth! Or from the first glance whether adopted or biological. Magical.

This is the sweetest book to read to children. Read it to my baby and now continue to read it to her 7 years later. Makes a great baby shower book.

i got this for a friend who is a foster and adoptive mother. She reads it to her now son each night.

I absolutely love this book. The illustrations are just as beautiful as the story itself. It is my favorite book to read to my little one.I would have rated it 5 stars, but my copy came with several pages that were torn. I tried to exchange my damaged product but I was unable to. I am disappointed with Amazon’s return policy and hope that the process improves in the future.Overall, I highly recommend this sweet children’s book but would suggest purchasing it from a different retailer as I have received several damaged books in the last few months.
