The picture looks more maroon/dark red, but it's actually sparkling purple. Wife loves it so it's still a win!

Large for women
I bought this same hat about five years ago. I LOVED it, but it was time for a new one. I ordered this one and I guess browning decided to increase the size and now it’s just way too big for my head. Same exact hat, same exact style, womens. I’m super bummed.

I love this hat. It's perfect for women. It has a shorter brim and a high enough profile so it doesn't make me look like I don't have a forehead. The fit is perfect for me. Perfect Summer hat for women who love the outdoors. Will purchase again when this hat wears out.

Perfect fit.
Rarely do I find THE hat, this one was it. Bought 10 and this is the only one I use. Very cute with a pony tail.
