Excellent little device
Excellent little device! Small but sturdy and generates a great sound. Comes with a handy carrying case, paired easily with my iPhone and is great value for money. WIsh the charging cable was a little longer, but that's a minor point. Recommended!

Small speaker, big sound – ideal for travel and everyday use
I’m genuinely impressed with this little EWA A106 Pro speaker. For its size, the sound quality is excellent and far exceeded my expectations. The speaker is very compact, but don’t let that fool you — it’s surprisingly loud and clear, with strong volume and a punchy bass thanks to the custom bass radiator. The sound is well balanced, with clear vocals and no distortion even at higher volumes. It easily fills a small room and works great outdoors too. One of the standout features is how portable it is. The included travel case is a great touch and makes it perfect for throwing in a bag for trips, bike rides, or days out. It’s also IP67 waterproof, which gives peace of mind when using it in the shower, near water, or outside — no worries about splashes or rain. Bluetooth pairing is quick and stable, connecting instantly to my phone and staying connected without drop‑outs. Battery life has been very good as well; I’ve used it for several hours at a time and didn’t need to recharge constantly. The build quality feels solid and well made, with a premium feel despite the small size. The buttons are simple and responsive, and overall it feels like a thoughtfully designed product rather than a cheap mini speaker. It’s been perfect for multiple uses — in the car, on a bike, in the shower, and outdoors — making it incredibly versatile. For the price, the sound performance, durability, and portability are hard to beat. Overall, this is excellent value for money. If you’re looking for a small Bluetooth speaker that’s loud, durable, waterproof, and easy to carry, I’d highly recommend this one. I’d definitely buy it again.

A great tiny speaker, amazing for this price!
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this little speaker because of how small it is and the low price, but it completely surprised me. The sound quality is way better than I thought it would be — really clear with a decent bit of bass for something this size. You can tell there’s some proper tech packed inside because it actually feels quite heavy, which I see as a good sign rather than a downside. It’s super easy to set up — just connect it over Bluetooth and you’re good to go. There’s no built-in volume control, but that’s fine since your phone or whatever you’re using adjusts the level anyway. I think that actually helps keep the design simple and leaves more room for the little bass radiator on the bottom, which definitely does its job. The button on the front (and the only button it has) turns it on but it can also pause and play. The speaker comes with a handy zip-up pouch and keyring clip, so you can attach it to a bag, belt loop, or throw it in your backpack when travelling. It’s water resistant too, which makes it perfect for camping trips, garden parties, or even just listening to music in the bathroom without worrying about splashes. For the price, this thing is honestly brilliant. Compact, solid, and surprisingly powerful. If you’re after a small portable speaker that punches well above its weight, this one’s an absolute gem.

Small, highly portable, loud and clear.
I've been through quite a few Bluetooth speakers. I use them at home, and at work. surprisingly, whatever workforce I'm on, I seem to be the only person who isn't still draining their phone battery playing music directly from that. So I guess I'm an "early adopter". Left my last portable mono speaker on a family trip, but it was well used and pretty "beat up". This unit was a small box, made by Morisons own-brand, and very cheap. Especially considering it was purchased about 4 years ago! It has served me well, and I loved the fact that it speaks with a British English accent to inform me when it's pairing, connected, disconnected etc. None of my other speakers, headphones / hands-free have given me that, opting for American English or (in some cases) Chinglish. This device does away with speech entirely, and produces pleasant chirping beeps to inform me of it's state. Being used to speakers which actually speak English, I find this a bit like talking to R2-D2 from the Star Wars franchise... It works well, and must save a fortune producing different language variants without annoying me with grating intonations that my parents would have scolded me for producing when I was a child. (in that sense, the Chinglish is far superior to the American ... sorry USA, your accents can be awful... Ours too, sometimes, this is why I pick the Australian English Siri, they're clear, but not stuck-up) I've not yet managed to flatten the battery in daily use, but my habit is to charge whenever I finish for the day, and switch to headphones for the bus ride home. If I use headphones while working, I may miss the shouts of my colleagues, and no music is definitely less productive as my brain switches off at repetitive tasks and more mistakes are made. The carry case is excellent, though I'm concerned the loop which holds the carabinier will not last the 4 years my last speaker has served me... It's great to hang on my belt and carry with me between rooms and doesn't get in the way of the heavy loads I'm carrying, or any of the trolley / cage devices I'm loading up and shifting about. My previous speaker needed to be picked up and packed along with the goods. The volume of the speaker is impressive, though I've never taken it to the max. I suspect that would be more necessary if I worked out-doors, or in a large, open-plan warehouse. The frequency range of sound produced seems excellent too, whether I'm listening spoken-word podcasts, jazz, rock, or EDM. (my musical taste spans many genre, and runs from the 1800s to the latest chart successes) The depth of bass, however, I find highly reliant on the surface I place the speaker on. Too flimsy, and it distorts, to solid and it is dampened. However, this is only really a problem when I listen to bass / sub heavy music like Nightcore, Dub or Reggae, and I can usually find a box of the appropriate consistency if it really annoys me. I am considering finding something good that I can pack along with the speaker... The cap to stop the beans going everywhere on my coffee grinder at home produces the most beautiful tone, to my ear... But I need that where it is! A wooden desk works well, metal, or UPVC racking or trunking distorts, and concrete or stone dampens. In some ways, this is quite a novel tone control, and has been a fun game. As I move to a new room, pop the speaker down and my face goes "Ooh!" or "Eww!" Finally the control? I'm used to having at least 3 buttons on speakers, and usually 4. This has only one, and as much as I didn't think I used them, because I don't usually "fiddle" skipping tracks and such, I MASSIVELY miss being able to adjust the volume to concentrate on a conversation, boost for a track that really hits my mood, or just to adjust to a larger or smaller room. The fact that it *can* skip forward and back is of little use to me, and I've never attempted it. Typically the volume up and down keys double as track skips if you tap them, but the function I actually want not to have to grub around in pockets to find my phone for is the volume control. THIS is this speakers greatest failing, for me. Next iteration of this design EWA? More buttons please! Otherwise, it's a flawless product. ;)

I was so impressed I immediately went back on amazon and bought another 4 for family/friends.
Okay, so bear in mind this is reviewing a £15 speaker no bigger than a medium hen's egg. I wasn't expecting much at all. but all I can say is WOW. this thing fires way above it's diminutive size. It isn't going to compare to a bigger dedicated speaker or system, but that would be missing the point. This little speaker is so tiny that I think it's a good idea it comes with a case and a keyring, or you would lose it at the bottom of any bag. You can literally take it anywhere, even in a pocket. The speaker is configured with an upward firing all-range neodymium speaker of great quality. Makes laptops and phones sound small and thin on sound. this is coupled to a downward firing passive bass cone to help with the low end. For such a small speaker, this is quite impressive in operation, and the small details like little feet and scalloped cut outs in the base rubber help to lift the speaker a bit off a hard surface and spread the bass out around the bottom of the speaker in three directions. What I wanted was a compact blue tooth speaker, and this delivers on so many levels, without including the bits I don't want - like 3.5mm input, like volume buttons (use your phone/laptop controls), like lights (apart from the one required for pairing and power). KISS or "Keep It Simple, Stupid" really applies to this design and implementation, and is to be applauded. EWA have hit a sweet spot here and put the cost savings of extra buttons and ports into the speaker and casing, where it really counts. So, Design: Nice and weighty, yet no bigger than an egg, so there is no excuse for not taking it everywhere. Sound: good overall, but quite honestly amazing for the size, definitely big enough for personal use or around a desk/sofa with a few mates. It isn't going to fill a room for a party, but for an egg, it punches way above it's weight. Features: Everything you need, absolutely no bloat. lean. Battery: Seems to last quite well, certainly good enough for an afternoon of medium volume listening, but not sure what the longevity of the battery will be like, but this is a small speaker, so it is obviously a small battery, too. Bluetooth operation: Certainly adequate. bit of a delay finding and pairing first time, but no issue subsequent times. The only slight down side I can find is that it is very sensitive to where you place it. To close to a hard surface like a wall or screen and the high frequencies are reflected more. I found it best slightly tilting it toward the listener, but not so much or the bass is lost firing back away from the listener. The hard shell makes a good stand and reflector as per the second photo. I made sure I ordered mine and some extras for family before writing this to ensure they didn't sell out on Amazon. £15 is an absolute steal, I love it. Well done EWA. Bottom line: bought one to evaluate, and was so impressed I immediately went back on amazon and bought another 4 for family/friends.

Excellent !
Amazed by this. It’s only small and comes in a great case. Easy to pair. Fantastic value for money. A weighty item for something so small which is great - it’s a quality item. It also looks good. I’d definitely recommend it. Obviously don’t expect the sound of a large high end speaker but it is fantastic for the price ! Worth more for sure.

Worth purchasing
Great little speaker. Tiny size, but good volume and clear. Size is excellent for travel. You can clip the case onto your bag and play the speaker through it if you like.

There is an issue with playing audiobooks - read on
I am going to reserve final judgement and will write a follow-up review once I have heard back from the manufacturer. But be warned, there is a potential issue with this speaker that I am not sure can be rectified.. The speaker seems to "go to sleep" momentarily when there is a pause, particularly when listening to an audiobook, but also it is noticeable at the start of a music track if the track starts precipitously. This could be a software/programming issue in an attempt to save battery life - eg when the speaker detects a pause, it very quickly goes into "sleep" or stand-by mode, but is too slow to wake up in time and therefore "clips" the first part of the word of the next sentence, or misses it out altogether, which makes the reading of the book unintelligible. This really is a problem and it is a problem of the speaker, not the phone, or Audible. It does exactly the same thing with another phone I have tried, but other speakers of a different manufacture do not do this. I have written the following email to the manufacturer and I will see what they say: "Dear Sirs, I bought the A106 Pro speaker from Amazon yesterday, but there is a problem: When listening to audio books (Audible), the speaker "stops" for a short time when there is a pause in the book and this "clips" or shortens the start of the next word or sentence. It makes it impossible to understand what is being read. It is as if the speaker goes to "sleep" for a short period of time when there is a pause or break. It then "wakes up" too late and the start of the next word or sentence is "clipped short" or missed. It is not too bad with music, unless the music track starts suddenly, in which case the first few notes are "clipped" or missed. Why does your speaker do this? Can you re-programme the speaker to "stay awake" for longer? It is not the fault of my phone - it does the same on both of my phones (a Huawei Mate 20 and a Samsung Galaxy S5). Other blutooth speakers do not do this" Otherwise, for £15, this is a really remarkable little speaker. You have to be careful about expectations of sound quality from something of this size and this cost - so, it is in a totally different league to my JBL Charge 3 blutooth speaker, but the JBL cost nearly 10x as much, is certainly 10x bigger (and heavier) and I wouldn't take the JBL on holiday or camping, or trips generally where I would have to carry it or pack it. The A106 Pro was bought to work in different situations to the JBL and therefore I'm happy with the sound quality (which, to be honest, is bound to sound a bit "tinny" at this size and price), because I love the portability and also the little carry case it comes in. Brilliant for camping, days out, taking on holiday, taking to the beach, etc. So long as it doesn't get wet. The sound quality is way better than my phone and the weight is about the same, so not much of an added problem to carry around when i want to listen to music. But I won't be listening to Audible books with it, simply because it is unintelligible. I really like the quality feel and the looks of it. Battery life is not too bad and can be recharged ok from a back-up battery that will also charge my phone. A 10,000 mAh battery doesn't cost too much, it's compact and doesn't weigh too much, so it's worth taking it along to charge your stuff, unless you are on-grid and can get access to 240v. So, will I be sending it back and getting something different? No - I can't be bothered for £15. In any case, it's not too bad for music playback, but it's very disappointing that it won't accommodate audible playback (unless the manufacturer can resolve this issue for me, which I doubt). UPDATE: 20.09.2019 I have not received a reply from the manufacturer. So, if you want to listen to Audible (or any narrative) then you will not be able to. This device "clips" the start of words and sentences, preventing you from making any sense of what is being read to you. It will also do this with music at the start of tracks. I would NOT recommend this speaker therefore.
