I love letter boards. They are so versatile and fun and much easier than chalkboards. I bought this because I saw it for a great price. I've never had a letter board before and was really excited about it. I have enjoyed it for about 3 weeks and have discovered some things I like and don't like about this particular set. Here's what I think:-Gray: I like the gray board. I have seen mostly black, but the gray works well in my room. I like to leave my husband little messages on it and leave it on our bed or write inspirational things and put it in on our entry way table. The gray blends in a little more than black. The letters don't pop out quite as much on the gray as on black though. I'm contemplating getting a black one as well.-Letters: It came with a nice variety of letters. I haven't run out, but almost did with my sons birthday board, I had no more "I" letters when I got done and ran out of periods on the last ":". I REALLY wish the emoji characters would've been in white, not pink. I have a son and daughter and would've liked it being a little more versatile so I could use the emoji for either one of them. I see most other sets have emoji characters in white. I do like the pink letters though. I made a board for basketball team pictures for my daughters team and I used pink and white. It was really cute!-Storage: I definitely can't handle storing the letters jumbled up in the bag, so I repurposed my daughters old Rainbow Loom sectioned container for storing the letters.-Unboxing info: I didn't really think too much about how to get my set all ready to use. The letters all come on piece of plastic connected in to a center rod. They provide you will a really handy and easy to use tool to remove the letters. It is rather time consuming though. Not a big deal, but it's something to be aware of.-What I would change: I already mentioned changing the emoji characters to white. I would also add a stand on the back or include an easel (even if it upped the price by a few bucks). I also really wish there was a little "rd", "th" "st" included. I make birthday signs for my kids and it looks a little silly to have "4th" with a big "th".Overall, I am happy with this set. I think the gray is complimentary to my house colors (all of my walls are gray).

This is the first letter board I've had. I looked at a million different ones and actually had a different one on my wish list; then this one popped up as an add-on at a super price. I couldn't lose! But I seriously love it. The gray felt is pretty and the grooves hold the letters in nicely. It came with a sheet of pink numbers, letters, punctuation and emojis, and two sheets of white numbers, letters and punctuation. Also a sheet of a few script-font words. It came packaged nicely with two canvas drawstring bags and scissors. When I was looking at different letter boards, many had scissors with them and I really didn't think it was necessary, but the needle-nose-ness of them were actually really helpful and it didn't take me long to cut apart the letters. The back of the board has a saw-tooth hanger already installed for hanging. The frame is a lightly stained oak. I'm super happy with this purchase, it exceeded my expectations.

I bought this as an end of the year teacher gift. We took the time to open it up and clip the letters for my kids' teachers with the included clippers. This board feels very high quality. Definitely recommend.

Great quality. Lots of letters, so i'll never be short a letter that I need, and bonus pink letters as well!

Comes with all sorts of letters and characters and even a tool to help cut them off the plastic.
