The instructions for measuring were easy to follow (measure twice, order once). They arrived on time, as promised. Very easy to install. Loved not having to drill holes! Love the top down, bottom up openings - which open and close smoothly. 100% satisfied - absolutely block light when closed. Allows light in when opened. Color is a nice light gray - not too dark but does cancel outside light when the shades are closed (goes well with my darker gray wall paint). This was for my toilet only room/closet in my master bath; an apartment building is scheduled to be built directly facing into this window and I wanted to be prepared to have my privacy, but also have light and the ability to see directly on to the street (this is one of two windows facing the street to the front of my house). The cost was reasonable (I recently had wood plantation shutter blinds installed in two other rooms at a much, much higher price point. Had I known about these, I would have selected them over the other very, very expensive blinds. I highly recommend.

We bought these custom shades for our cabin and we are very pleased with them. It took about two minutes to install. There was one tool which they supplied- very easy set up.You can pull them down or you can set them up to go from the bottom up.There is a little handle that allows you to easily pull them down and they send you two additional handles for each shade that you order.The color is true to what I expected. We have the off-white. The opposite side of the shade is white, which is great because it will reflect the sun. It offers great privacy on our windows. It doesn’t 100% block out the sun, but also we have stained glass which might be preventing it from closing up tiny little cracks which lets a tiny bit of sun in on either side of the shade. I think if we removed the stained glass, it will probably completely block out the sun. The feel durable.They look expensive and custom, and we are so pleased with this product. We plan to buy more for all of the windows in our house. This product was an excellent value for the money. You do have to wait about three weeks, or at least we did, but we live in a forest and mail is kind of slow in general. However, that’s not a long time to wait for something that’s custom fit. My mother-in-law plans to buy them for her house too.

These Shades are great. Price is a bit high, but quality, aestetic, ease of installation make up for it.They are great quality they give what they say black out. They are very nice to see up.. I'm quite happy with this shade. First, it fits perfectly in my window, with very small gaps on either side when it's pulled down. I measured the width of the window carefully, and it clearly paid off. Good job, Boolegon!The installation was very simple, and took about five minutes. I didn't want to drill holes where I mounted it, which this design avoids.The block-out version really does block out bright sunlight during the time of day when it's most intense, which has made working in the kitchen much more comfortable.The pull-down and push-up function works well, although it's not easy to reach by my wife when it's all the way up. I do wish there was a way to attach a pull-down string of some kind to make it easier for height-challenged people to operate this function on higher windows without having to use a step-stool. Leaving it partially down can work, but then it blocks the view out of the upper part of the window.The included clear plastic clips are intended to work as grabbing points for pulling and pushing, but there were no instructions that showed how to attach them (you slide them on from either end of the bottom bar - they do not snap on). These clips help me as I'm pretty tall, but don't help anyone else in our house - the clips are the same height as the bar when they're installed.Once you have the blind installed, you slide a several-inch plastic cover over to hide the tightening mechanism. The cover is clearly visible after this, so I do wish there was a way to cover the mechanism a bit more discreetly (maybe an internal slider would be less noticeable?).Quality-wise, this looks and feels every bit as nice as a blind you might get from a professional window covering store. I'm really glad we bought it, and I'd be happy to do so again with other windows if the need arises.

Exactly as advertised, they perform perfectly, and look great. They took me 5 minutes to install, which I appreciate. I recently purchased blinds from another company, and they took me an hour and a half to install with the standard brackets and tools (they were 94” in length). So this ‘tension bar’ design was very easy to work with and very quick to install.They were also cut perfectly for my window, and the company owner was communicative as needed during the process. I recommend this vendor and these cleverly engineered blinds; they are top of the line!

I just love these honeycomb blinds! The durability of them is exceptional. They were so very easy to install, love, love that I didn't have to mess with drills, and screws. They are of the greatest quality, heavy duty but look so adorable. They are a great value for the money, and I would purchase for all my windows in the long run. Well worth the money!
