I am only an amateur photographer and I was really apprehensive about trying a fully manual lens on my Canon EOS X7, but amazingly, I got some incredibly sharp photos the very first time out! I’m really impressed with this lens and think I may find myself using it even more than I anticipated. The build is a bit lighter than I had wished, but for under $100, I’d say you can’t go wrong with this 85mm prime lens.

I ordered this ab a week ago. It came in the mail in 3 days really fast! The box was pretty damaged but the lense was wrapped pretty good in bubble wrap. Yoy had to switch some settings for your camera because it's Manual. The lense did come a little loose but the screw just needed tightning thats all. Amazing comstomer service. Great work to them for reaching out, helping me set everything up, being pacient and send a $10 refund for the loose part of the lense. I say its a great start!

Maybe I read something incorrectly, but I was not expecting a used product. Upon opening the package, the canon box itself was ripped open, the lens caps were not secure allowing dust to get everywhere on the lens itself, and the base is all scratched up and has a decent amount of wear & tear. I intentionally tried to stay as far away from used & refurbished for this purchase, so I’m very bummed out. I understand this was a budget friendly price, but the product description is very misleading.

I got the product first come in is wrong size. Not fit with my camera, but after I contact the Amazo, the seller respond almost immediately and try to find out which part got mess up. And comfirmed it's their problem with out any question. And I recieved the new one couple days later. And fit my camera and any thing runs good. But before your purchase this lens,be aware that this lens is OEM one and NO AUTO FOCUS function. Even the camera will not reconize your new lens. So, make sure you change your camera setting to not to detect lens or you'll not able to use it on your camera even the mount is fit. But on me, I don't use auto focus a lot, so it's fit my needed and after couple shot, looks pretty good for me so I like it.

Great lens addition to my collection i love the way it operates and it was a good price

Pros: Good sharpness. Low CA and distortion . 😌 Cons: Poor AR coating. Strange aperture values.( f 3,6,10 etc.) 🙁

Eh. Lens is okay. I made the mistake of purchasing an off brand one so automatic focus is not available. I also noticed this lens tends to add a soft effect on the photos.
