There was a very slight natural smell when I first opened it, but it disappeared quickly after airing it out for a day.

This goose down quilt looks very high-end and comes with a packaging bag Since it is vacuum packed you only need to shake it gently after unpacking it to make it fluffy The fabric feels smooth and soft and the filling in each grid is also full It is much better looking than the 9 tog duck down quilt I bought before and the filling and weight are better The goose down quilt itself is not heavy, but the 12 tog filling is enough to keep you warm in the cold winter.

This is no way this duvet has 30% down. I have other duvet from Ikea with only 10% down and feels much better that this one. I have returned it the same day when arrived.
