Used two of these intermittently since purchase 3.5 years ago. Top pan is a thin sheet, probably of austentitic steel. It dents easily, esp. with weights over 5kg. so use a stiff sheet of wood or thick sheet of plastic to protect the pan when weighing greater weights. Needs 5kg for calibration though out of the box found error was only 0.2%, Can only use the controlbox with the weighing pan with which it was supplied. They are not interchangeable: I guess that they are calibrated together. Battery box is too tight, Takes 4 x AAA cells. Diameter of AAA cells varies slightly between brands. This box is designed for thinner brands. How do you know which ? Trial and error I fear. Even then the fit is tight: Cells need to be forced in which is bad news because the negative terminal springs are not strong enough to push adjacent cells into contact if there is a gap, and the force needed to push the cells into place flattens the positive connectors in the box so that when batteries are replaced they don't make a connection. Blue LED display is faint. Just readable in shaded daylight. Otherwise works OK when used with an external 5V supply and extremely good value.

Excellent bench scales. Straightforward to use, accurate and perfect for larger items as the display unit can be moved to a point easy to read.

My review was deleted which I find very strange. Apparently only good reviews make it. Scale worked fine first 30 days and then stoped working. Numbers just go up and down even without anything on it.

Big heavy parcel? Can't read your normal scales as the parcel covers the reading? This is just so easy, all you have to do is make sure the parcel is fully on the patform and doesn't touch the table or floor. No more weighing myself, then grabbing the big heavy parcel and having to try somehow to read the weight of both of us, then subtracting my weight, and, errr, where was I? Oh, start again :-( If you do big parcels, just buy it. Should have bought it long long ago in a galaxy far far from here.

Great set of scales, especially as the digital pad is movable. I should of bought it sooner.

Very satisfied with the performance, accuracy and useability of these scales. Until they gave up the ghost after 5 months use. I weigh 1-6 parcels a day so I wouldn’t call that heavy use. I deliberately paid up for what I hoped was a higher end product too. Performance great, durability poor. Disappointed.

La bilancia è fatta quasi interamente in plastica tranne che per alcune parti. Funziona con 4 batterie AAA. Molto leggera e maneggevole, ed avendo il display mobile collegato con un cavetto consente di pesare pacchi molto più grandi della dimensione della base. Il peso massimo che può misurare è di 50 kg. Riesce a pesare anche quantità minime, ho provato con 5 grammi e li ha letti perfettamente. Durante la pulizia state attenti al connettore che va dal display alla bilancia perché potrebbe ossidarsi. Nel complesso un buon prodotto. Spero di essere stato utile 👇

Verkligen bra och precis våg. Kanske display enheten skulle ha lite mer vikt så den inte förflyttar sig så lätt som den gör med spirasladden men det löser man med en gummi matta under. Annars tummen upp 👍👍

lo uso para cualquier botella gas y cambios de peso en botellas ,,,va muy bien y es perqueño y ligero para cosas pequeñas ,,,, con un tablero encima pesas cosas mas grande pero no mas de 50 kg
