I use a fair amount of masonry bits in my work. I often need to secure wire anchors into foundations or block, and sometimes lag bolts directly into solid concrete. So I go through bits fairly regularly. Given that, and the fact that a dull bit just won't cut it both figurative and literally, I thought I'd give these a try because at that price point I can get new ones more often. I'm glad I did. These do a good job... maybe not quite as fast as the higher-priced bits I've used, but a fair trade-off for just grabbing a new one without being concerned about whether I should try to get a few more holes out of it first. I have only used these in concrete and block though, so I can't comment on tile, (I'd be dubious of getting a bite without it skidding... and besides, I always use a diamond bit on ceramic) wood (Why would anyone use these on wood?) or metal. They just don't seem designed for those other materials, despite the product description. These have a very typical concrete style tip that just isn't optimal for other materials. But hey, if you can make them work for that without skidding or spiraling, good on ya! For me, I'll keep them for masonry and have a couple of sets to burn through so I always have a sharp bit on hand.

I needed to drill some holes in the mortar of my brick walls and these drill bits did an excellent job. With ten drill bits of varying sizes, I was able to choose the ones I needed, and they made it easy to drill through. They are a winner at this price. A comparable set of 10 drill bits in stores like Home Depot would set me back $25 or more, but these are less than half the price, and they come in a nice case for easy storage.

Works well, recommend buy

I used it to drill through concrete and wood and it went through effortlessly. I am satisfied with the quality, tried drilling through an old catalytic convertor but was not able to even leave a mark and cause the tip of the bit to be worn. I suppose that had to do with the material.

These are great. I just wish there was one size smaller for screws. I purchased another set, but after just one time use through metal, they totally deteriorated. Not these. These still stayed intact.

This set comes with 10 drill bits, ranging in size from 1/8" to 1/2". There are 2 of each size, so 5 different sizes (actually 4 different bit widths because there are 4-1/4" bits, 2-4" and 2-6" lengths. The bits are very strong, as you'd expect from a masonry bit. Great for mounting a TV into a brick fireplace. The sizes are 1/8", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", & 1/2". The 1/8" is 2 1/2" in length. The 1/4" has both 4 and 6" lengths. The wider bits are all 6" in length.
