The Wise Mind of Emperor Haile Sellassie I

This is a very good book. The rastafari believe that Haile Sellassie was God in living form. I don't agree with that because he actually said he wasn't and believed in Christ Jesus as his personal Lord and Saviour. He was however, a very wise intelligent man. He seemed to be very honorable and upright in action. This book is a lot about how Africa can become better and how the world can become better, but you can apply a lot of what he says in this to your own life. He may be talking about Africa and the World in one of the excerpts, but that same statement can apply to you and your wife...your relationship with each other. His wisdom truly shines through in this book and it's a very easy quick read. I still have mine and plan on reading it again very soon, just to keep some of the tenants in it fresh in my mind, especially since I'm starting a new job soon. There's no grandiose stroking of his own ego in this book, he's simply trying to impart wisdom to better the world. I give it 5 stars and highly recommend you read it.

This book is no more bigger than a business card and thinner than a church pamphlet. The content ok at that I must return I’m a little ...no I’m very disappointed 😔.

It's the first I ever read, where HIM's name was spelt, repeatedly as, "sellassie," which I'm finding, distracting, nonetheless.Of course, I could have, and wish I had noted how it was spelt on the cover before I bought it.

I like this book, it has clear outlines of HIMs ideals and practice of character.This is a small pocketbook, it is great for a bathroom read or a bedtime read but its not anything to study Selassie out of as there is alot of history behind his ideals that can put things in better perspective for someone that is looking for more education on the subject.Nice little book though, Jah Bless

I read this little book in one day, and now.keep it in my handbag. In times when I used to pull my phone to scroll mindlessly, I now pull this book and read the writings of HIM. Whatever you believe, HIM Haile Sellassie was truly a great man and a threat to the powers that are corrupting our world right now. No matter your faith, your skin colour or your location on God's earth, we are all one people and His words speak for all of us.

This book arrived quickly and is nicely compact.. I am familiar with the contents and H.I.M utterences on many topics of the human condition both temporal and spiritual are uplifting as would be befitting of Christ in H.I.M Kingly Character.. Hail Yah the most high.

Very good words from Haile Selassie. I advise everyone to get this book as it is not biest towards any culture or religion but a book for the world and individuals for words of strength wisdom and comfort.
