Good variety of puzzles
This brain training book for adults is really useful and has a good variety of puzzles to solve to keep your brain active. I particularly like the fact that that it’s is very informative at the start of the book. Plenty to keep you going for a while. Very good value.

A mixture of general knowledge and lists with a few brain teasers. Some types of puzzle repeated. Many of them rely on popular US culture and history, so impossible for us Brits, eg. Finish the jingle and Alma's shopping list, which are for products we don't have. Disappointing.

332 pages of brain challenges!
At 79, I know that my brain is not as sharp as it was. I was having more problems being able to pull up words when I wanted, and it is frustrating! This book is 332 pages long, and contains 399 games, puzzles and trivia that are built to "exercise" your brain. They are supposed to target the six key cognitive functions....long term memory, working memory, executive functioning, attention to detail, multitasking and processing speed. It is really a fun book! I am definitely a word person, and there are so many fun word games that have challenged me to think in different ways. I am finding where my strengths and weaknesses are, that's for sure. It tests your memory in lots of ways, and seems very tailored to the senior age group with a lot of the trivia type questions. I am finding it hard to just stop at a few of the challenges each day, it is that much fun! A great book, well worth the price as it is packed full of "challenges."
