I ordered this product because they were described as double capacity, they aren’t. I could have paid less and got the smaller cartridges.The seller has only offered a refund if items returned. I have requested that they make up the difference in ink or refund the difference in value - would be good customer relations!

I use these regularly in my Canon Printer. They produce very good quality photo prints on good quality photo paper. I've tried them on cheaper photo paper and the results have been rubbish. Great value.On the negative side I have noticed that the colours don't seem to last very long when the printer is not being used for colour printing! So I print out envelopes and letters supposedly using black ink and then find that the coloured ink has either run out or has nearly run out! Odd that!

My wife and I have used these cartridges many times over the last 18 months and have not had any failures of the 8150 printer to recognise them. She prints off many photos to display the work of her students and the results are always very good. The same is true of plain black on white text. We are thrilled to get such good cartridges at these prices. I have contacted First Call several times for special requests (not complaints) and they have been most helpful and easy to deal with. The cartridges seem to last as long as the Canon ones.

I did 2 identical prints, first with Canon ink, then changed to these FCI inks and re-printed the same photo. There was no visible difference, amazing for the price. The tanks are also transparent so you can see how much you get, and these are filled to the top. Time will tell if I get any nozzle clogging problems, but other reviewers have never mentioned this, so I remain hopeful . I will re-visit this review should I get any problems.

The ink in these cartridges runs out very quickly. I recently installed a set of cartridges and the colour is hopeless. I will not be buying them again.

Really excellent inks and they supply the all important GREY cartridge. Also they are a fraction of the cost of the Canon product and you get more ink in each cart. One think to remember though - when the printer tells you it is low on ink just ignore it and keep printing - Canon must think we are mugs. Im also thinking of refilling these myself or going CIS

I have used compatible cartridges for years, and only buy printers for which compatibles are readily available.These work fine and give results indistinguishable from the originals. Whether or not the print will fade with time, or whether their use will eventually cause problems with the printer, I do not know. What I do know, is that by the time this may become a problem I am likely to have saved more than enough to buy a new, more up to date, printer.

This is my second order for these ink cartridges. They work well. I have only used the Cannon originals that came with the printer, and as we know these are only ever partly filled with ink, so I can not compare regarding life expectancy. However, these work well and for long enough to make them a bargain.The print quality is adequate for my needs- I have never tried printing photos.
