It's Marlowe, high quality like all their products.
I love all Marlowe products so when I say they came out with a texture pomade I had to get it. They didn't miss and this has the same high quality that all there products have.

Miss the old one
I recently switched to MARLOWE. No. 174 Classic Cream Pomade, but I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed. The old formula was definitely better, the new one feels a bit greasy at times and leaves my hair feeling weird. Plus, the scent just isn't the same, and the hold doesn't compare to the old version. Hoping they bring back the original formula soon!

It does the job and does it well
It holds for most of the day and isn't too glossy. Very little residue is left after application, and the smell is good and faint. It's good stuff, definitely worth the price.

Worked as expected
I don't style my hair very often, but when I do I don't like it to be crunchy. This stuff gave me some control but left my hair looking and feeling more natural than gel does.

Great Hold Without Stiff Feel
My husband really likes the hold this product gives his hair without the crunchy, stiff feel of similar hair products he's used in the past. While he's not the biggest fan of the scent, it goes away quickly — and I've used this myself to tame my ends and flyaways and didn't mind (or even notice) the scent at all and find that it works well. It also has such a superior feel to traditional pomade. He says people should make sure their hair is dry or close to dry before using it — so if you're used to putting something in your hair right after getting out of the shower, wait a beat ... although that would be true of any pomade, but since this is a cream and soft and flexible, so you may not think to use it like a regular pomade but it is in functionality. Good value for the price, too!

Good pomade
Not a man, but I tend to like scents labeled as more masculine, and I've been wanting to try a slicked back look with my hair anyway so figured I would give this a go. I do like the scent, way better than lavender or rose or whatever other florals companies assume all femme folks like. I started with a small amount even though my hair is pretty thick, as I'm used to products for women immediately making my hair feel crunchy. Definitely has a lighter hold, which was nice! I'm still experimenting with styling but so far I like this.

More of a soft hold then a medium hold
I used to use a different pomade (starts with a 'C' and rhymes with Brew) but have been branching out and trying different brands to see what I like. I have this brand's sunblock that I like and decided to give their pomade a try. This Marlowe pomade is only 1-2 dollars more expensive but so far I like it.I have short hair so I only need a little for it to work for me (I attached a pic showing how much I use). The only issue is that it's more of a light-medium hold instead of a medium hold that I'm used to. The smell is really nice and does add texture to my hair where it actually looks like I tried to do something with it.
